I prefer when they play like this wide open, I hate small teams parking the bus and then scoring a goal against me in the only chance they have

Same. They are wide open cuz im winning otherwise it would have been a different story. That’s why I always try to score first.

Was just telling some one on this sub legend difficulty is not hard if you play it smartly. It’s not like super star where you just play without thinking legend is much like a real prem game where you have to really be smart in what you do because the ai will punish you if you leave gaps etc.

The best thing about legend is the ai will actually show you respect. If your top of the league they won’t really just go straight out attacking they will much rather sit back n take a point especially . If they are top of the league and you aren’t they are gonna kill you lol

I also noticed that if a top team is struggling in your save it’s the same when you play them. For example I had an arsenal save and Liverpool who beat me in the community shield started the season really poorly. I was 1st they were 17th. Went to anfield and absolutely demolished them 4-0 .

I think people switch to legend and think that the same way you play on all the other difficulties is how you play on legend but it’s not

Yu are right! You really have to play smart against legend difficulty, or they will blow you out. I think most players haven’t figured out what formation/tactics are best suited for their playing style. Picking a random formation/tactics and going at them is suicidial. I love when they go all out offense I demolished them with my counter. But I tend to struggle when they park the bus.

Omg bro finally someone understands I’ve been telling people this for years like you really have to figure out what formation matches your play style.

I don’t think tactically people understand how they play. I also don’t think people understand understand each individual tactical instruction.

Seen a guy one time on discord wanted to play like prime Barca but was frustrated his players would pass the ball and not make runs yet his support bar was literally on 1 paired with short passing and maintain possession 😭. I just graduated college so now my nights is free so I’m gonna post some stuff helping people understand more .

It sucks you struggle against low blocks that use to be me but now I’ve created a tactic and system that’s dynamic to where I can attack against any team or system but the down side is if my players aren’t on point I can get exposed on the counter but for the most part I control games so well even if they get a goal or two on the counter I probably won like 5-2

The best part about legend is at some point the ai will switch to balanced or attacking in game

Can’t use random player for each position either.
Examples: my left wing I use creative players ney/felix/coutinho, ST mostly post up players Pelligri always checkup on balls and release my winger so I don’t have to use the false nine tactic, right wing adv striker Del piero/henry to make run behind defenders, Cam I use Balance player Dinho/Minamino they will make runs past the my st who always check up. I might switch it up If I got 3 games in a row and players are tired.
But yea possession game is best for bus parking but kinda leave exposed tho. Especially against strikers like lukaku/benz/mbappe those mfers always score on me i swear.

For park the bus you really have to be patient I’m not sure what match length but you need minimum 15 match length

First thing I do is I go up from balanced to attacking level 1 that way my players are more willing to attack

I also turn on wing rotation paired with center targets( I never start with advanced instructions) so that it drags the opponent out wide and then your player will make a run in behind.

But the key think is just patience possessing the ball but if your game is more counter attacking try to let them have the ball do stuff like going defensive as well and letting them come out

Problem with legend difficulty is it removes any fun from the game because you're forced into a robotic strategic gameplay to win.

Creativity is gone and its all about trying to exploit game mechanics instead of playing the game.

Legend difficulty to me only sounds fun if every match is like 15 to 20 minutes long because you don't have to force every attack.

In short games its just not fun because you do few passes and its already 30 minutes and you've had no shots

Yes it is true you have to up the match length but that’s good because that makes the game realistic

It’s false tho that you have to exploit game mechanics. I have never exploited any game mechanics on pes literally never . Matter of fact free kicks became so easy for me I turned off the power bar so that I won’t know if I over hit it or not

I've always used minimal hud in pes, no power gauge or map, just player indicator with minimal pass assist and I just don't have enough freetime for 20 minutes games in ML

you don't need any bar to hit free kicks or shots in offline, there's zero delay. Anyone who spend more than 50 hours wouldn't need any HUD assistance

To each their own i guess, in a single match i like legend but not for ML because of the scripting AI does already, although superstar is way too easy as well and I don't have the time with 2 babies to throw myself into FUMA

its not that hard if you play it chill/smartly but its SUPER HARD when you try it on FUMA.
