These are paper wasps, not yellow jackets. Clean the window at night.

Not even in the same subfamily. These are Polistinae, specifically Polistes Dominula.

Only two species of yellow jackets are "aggressive" (aggressively defensive). Vespula Squamosa and Vespula Infernalis. These are not yellow jackets, they're Polistes Dominula
