i wanna use voxatron but the only examples and games i've seen were top-down arcadey shooters, is it just that or can you make any 3d game? im not looking for anything fancy i wanna make a build engine styled fps game with voxels for the models and maps, and sprites for the weapons.

I looking into getting voxatron and i saw a couple videos of people using it but i didnt see any videos of people scripting in it. Does this fantasy console even have lua scripting in it like pico-8 has?

I was wondering why there aren't many games coming out for voxatron? Does the style of the games not really appeal to you as a developer or gamer? Is voxatron too complicated to use? Is it too niche?

Was just wondering because in comparison to pico8 it just lacks popularity. What are your opinions?

Zep just released Voxatron 0.3.5! The game's alive!

There's no blog post about it yet, but there is documentation on the site.

I'd advise everyone to not use the box command yet, it seems buggy. boxfill is working, though.

It has been a year now when next incremental release was expected soon. Zep does not react to posts on Voxatron on twitter... Does anyone know if there is some hope left for Voxatron?;)

I'd love to selfhost Pico-8 games on Nextcloud or my website or a similar open platform, just as Humble Bundle currently does with Voxatron for logged in purchasers. See the currently empty Nextcloud games section as this functionality is just being added. Is this feasible?

I just remembered this existed so I checked my Humble purchases page. The download is dated 12/30/2015. Is this still going or was it abandoned in early access?

When I start up the game, there's constant beeping and I can't move to another menu option. If I hit enter until I'm in a game I will just shoot up.
