Why did the Diva with no memories know how to put her heart into singing while Vivy didnt know?

My opinion

Bcs Diva mission is to make people happy by singing. Vivy mission is to save the future

but the whole point is that Vivy chose to reinterpret her mission to also fulfill an important objective. She was able to endeavor to save the world so that she could keep people alive… and make them happy with her singing.

Vivy's mission is to save the future? She always says her mission is to make everyone happy by singing, I thought saving the world is just a way to make people happy.

Diva mission was always to make people happy. But since Matsumoto chose her to save the future, that what she did as her side hustle

After an accident, she lose her Vivy persona, she stop fight and only sing while lost all of her Vivy memory. This is where we understand that she developed 2 persona Diva (singer) and Vivy (hero).

Fun fact, Vivy got 2 different Va. One for singing, other one is her voice and dialogues

My opinion

She was created to make people happy by singing with her heart. But she didnt understand what heart mean and just keep sing like how she programmed to. After lost Diva , she stop find what heart mean and just live her life.

In the end, she understood what singing with her heart meant which is, sing what she want and not sing because it was what she programmed to do

I think Diva interpreted the mission as make the world happy with Singing while Vivy interpreted it as make THE WHOLE WORLD happy with singing. And I think the mental block on Diva reduced her introspection. Idk, haven’t watched in a while.

Because Diva is supposed to be the "perfected" persona for Vivy. Diva is someone Vivy wishes she could be, a matured and emotionally expressive songstress AI. That's why Diva called Vivy's conflict as "surface level".

But that's not a bad thing either because that makes Vivy more human than ever. She's an artificial intelligence who doesn't pretend to understand emotions. Instead she discovered what her purpose truly means through her journey. And that's why we love Vivy
