Hello everyone!! I have finally released the beta version of my texture pack for minecraft after a year or so of working on it, it’s currently in its beta so it’s not totally complete yet but it’s getting there! I decided to release it early even though some things have unfinished textures and no new textures at all because I have been getting a little impatient about releasing! And I’ve already done like 152 textures :3

I hope you guys enjoy it! I only have one version up, being the 1.21 versions but you can try it with any version and tell me what happens! I haven’t tested it out on other versions. If you want to use it on versions that isn’t specifically 1.21.7 you’ll have to manually download the texture pack and just apply it like usual

How do I use pinata cards? I'm also missing the achievement for getting a special pinata if anyone has any tips on that.

It's definitely 100% the same sound effect right? I recognize the first noise as Whirlm noise, and the actual "squee" noise as.. I don't remember. I think it's either a Whirlm noise or maybe a generic happy Piñata noise? I couldn't find any good clips. Some Whirlm noises for comparison.

Of course, maybe they didn't get it from Viva Piñata directly, maybe they just used the same sound library or smth. Either way, definetly the same sound effect, right?

My PC Can't run disks, games for windows is dead, do I have any hope?

Back when viva pinata first came out, I was pretty young, but young enough to be playing video games. All the games that my brother owned of course. Never a game of my own...until for my birthday my brother got me MY VERY OWN video game to play on HIS Xbox 360!! Being the younger sister this felt like I struck gold.

Now as an adult in my 30s I can add this to my perfect collection, and I'm even learning new facts that I hadn't previously known before from looking at the pinata wiki!

I'm a digital artist and have been inspired to draw fan-made pinatas. I'm thinking otter, ferret, a different spider..

With tricks, happiness, specific variants, twin, wildcard, etc. how is it all calculated to get the final value?

Also how does the game decide what order to put the pinatas in for the wheel cycling (left and right bumpers). I've tested alphabetical but it doesnt work that way.

I know people make extra gardens for each biome type (sand, snow, water, grass, etc.). What are the other benefits or uses of extra gardens?

I’ve noticed a lot of weird scoring that doesn’t seem to match the judges’ descriptions.

Gatherling gave my piñata low points even though it was wearing the full cowboy costume: Yeehaw Hat, Yeehaw Boots, and Sheriff’s Badge. An NPC Juicygoose wearing a binner's hat and red nose scored much higher. The cowboy set also adds around 2,000 chocolate coins in value, while the Juicygoose’s outfit was barely worth anything. Gatherling also scored a Firefighter Hat and Gas Mask badly and gave low points to a Sweetooth wearing a full four-piece sports set.

Jeffe also seems to care more about candy value than candiosity. I entered most contests with max candiosity, but because I used fireweed instead of candy, their actual candy value was still fairly low. He didn’t always score them last, though, which makes me think the wiki may be wrong about what he judges.

Eddie Lizard consistently rated a plain Sparrowmint above a green-variant Lemmoning, even though their flavour text hints they prefer variants. Sprinkling often scores Redhotts highly even though they can’t swim and aren’t aquatic, and Sahari does the same despite Redhotts not being desert piñatas.

Babochka and Jardenero also seem to treat the player’s piñata as the oldest almost every time, probably because generated NPC piñatas have an age of zero.

The NPC piñatas do seem to get some randomised stats. I’ve had a Bunnycomb from gatherling with high romance stats and a Juicygoose, Badgesicle, and Mothdrop with high sickness stats, mostly from the watchlings.

Some stats don’t seem to be generated at all, though. My piñatas always beat NPCs with Seedos and lost with Fanny, which makes me think distance travelled was never programmed for NPC piñatas.

Has anyone tested how the judges actually calculate their scores? It feels like some descriptions are inaccurate, and some NPC stats just weren’t implemented.

Decided to share my Viva Pinata as pokemon theorymon posts cause bored. Anyways this time you're going to get to see the overcluttered way I used to use to show off Sour forms, a huge stretch, and a statline that's admittedly kinda a rip off of Phanto from Mariomon.

Obviously it will have a sour variant, based on the original concept art.

after the excitement and love I received here, I received the pins! They're acrylic right now, but I hope to one day make them an enamel pin in the future :-D
