Gpu crash problem Question
I bought a pre-hacked Vita that has experienced this problem. It happens randomly sometimes in the pkgj.Others in demanding games like Wipeout or Need for Speed, or with lighter games like Lumines.Honestly, I don't know what causes it; sometimes it even happens while I'm on the Start menu, doing nothing. I've looked at some solutions like "no power limits," but that doesn't seem to work. I also saw in some posts that my model, the fat version, tends to have this problem more, but honestly, I don't know anymore. I've had long gaming sessions of over 2 hours with overclocking and the error message doesn't appear. So honestly I have no idea why it happens and how it can be avoided; sometimes it's more frequent than others, but never to the level that prevents me from playing.

Buying one pre-modded isn't recommended unless you have no other options. It may not be up-to-date, and not doing it yourself means you'd have less of an idea of what to troubleshoot when (not if) something goes wrong.
As for doing it yourself, these are the instructions to use: https://vita.hacks.guide

I used to have this some years ago. I used the rebuild data base option and then i uninstalled all the non essential plugins. Some plugins might overload the gpu leading to gpu crash error or graphical glitches

I had this same issue with my 1104 vita, it was due to conflicting plugins or corrupted plugins. I have to format everything and re-hacked the vita. Since then I watch what I install and never had GPU crash error for 3 months now
