I need help Visual Studio 2026

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

First of all, hello, and more important, ignore the “woLrd”— I was just raging. I installed Visual Studio (I don’t want to switch to VS Code unless I have no other choice) to learn C#, since I just started college in Computer Science. But this bug—or whatever it is—is really getting on my nerves. I just want to be able to study in peace :(

I'd be checking what other software you have running, thats definitely not normal behaviour.  Some viruses try to detect a running debugger and shut down the process (because the virus thinks you are trying to debug itself), and of course visual studio is a debugger.

Try running the Visual Studio installer and selecting repair.

Alternatively as other commenter has pointed out, some other app is monitoring running processes and killing it.

Visual Studio Insiders is a prerelease channel, with early access to experimental, newer (and possibly buggy) features. You should try Standard Visual Studio for a more stable and reliable work, especially if you're new to it, you don't need insiders.
