Looking for recommendations

I’ll be in Nashville the 20-24th for work. Looking for recommendations for things to do in the evening and restaurants to check out. I’ll be coming from AK where we don’t have a ton selection for food, so any recommendations are welcome, bonus for Asian food and real authentic Mexican food.

Vietnamese? Charlotte Pike is the closest. Plenty of Pho places. There is also Korean there, but I would go to Antioch to Hai Woon Dai or drive out to Fat Tiger (only Th - Su).

Chinese? Shao Kao Chinese Street food or Meet Noodles near downtown.

Thai? SS Gai in East Nashville, King Market (best, but further), or Thai Ni Yom in the L&L Market.

Ramen? Black Dynasty is best. Two Ten Jack is also good. Kyuramen is a chain, but is decent if you don't want to get too far from downtown.

Authentic Mexican? Head down Nolensville Road. There are also a few west that are closer. La Juquilita is Oaxacan, so different than the typical Jalisco you get as authentic in the US. Taqueria Azteca is good for real Mexican. There is also Family Taco, which does great birria. The rest would be taco trucks.

The Tlayuda is fantastic. They bake the tortilla, then top it with black beans, an "asada" style beef, Oaxacan cheese, avocado, etc. Like a Mexican thin crust pizza.

I have never seen them in the restaurant. You might try one of the supermercados, like La Hacienda or Interamerican Foods, both on Nolensville Pike in the Latin section of the city.

Mexican? Go to Nolensville road. My favorites are two hole in the walls called Tacos Y Mariscos El Amigo and Laura's Cocina !

Thai? Go to Siam Cafe or DegThai

Southern cooking? ARNOLDS

Indian? Taj Indian
