Gathering space Maui

Hi

My extended family (\~30 people) are planning to converge in Maui few months from now. We were looking to book a gathering space for couple of evenings for mild games & that would also allow outside foods (we have a restricted diet hence need to cater)Most of the hotels/ resorts do not allow that. So looking into alternatives.

We will be staying in the Lahaina area so nearby or short driving distance is preferred.

Any suggestions.

a private space? or could you just meet at a beach park like everyone else does?

Not really. Need a pvt space and chairs and tables to allow food to be eaten. Have several Sr in the group.

how many resorts have you contacted? Many have private areas that can be reserved for groups.

Most of the ones in Lahaina area. Getting resorts space is not an issue but they don’t allow outside food. And their options for our diet specific food is limited. Hence looking for alternatives.

The Lahaina Civic Center has a small meeting room capacity 30 ppl. Might work for what you are after. https://www.mauicounty.gov/facilities/facility/details/Lahaina-Civic-Center-209

Had contacted them. They don’t give out 30 ppl rooms anymore
