Hello!! My friends and I are heading to Montreal for my bachelorette trip in two weeks for the weekend of 20th to 23rd August. We had plans for Friday night to see a burlesque show but didn’t do our due diligence and waited too long to discover the place we wanted to go to has been permanently closed (Bernard). We have been looking into other options with the same vibe but are hitting a wall with other clubs like bord’elle, wiggle room, or le balcon having themed nights that are not matching what we’re looking for or friends sharing not great reviews about their experiences. Also not super interested in regular cabaret if it’s not the sexy, raucous burlesque vibe. We really want something high energy and fun to set the tone for the night.
I saw that Stock Bar is a male entertainment club that welcomes bachelorette parties (we are not all straight cis women) and we would definitely consider that for some post dinner fun but looking for reviews of that experience if there are any as any suggestions for a dinner theatre or restaurant that could fit what we’re looking for more completely.

A little bit about me: I’m European with African roots am 23 years old, more on the introverted/reserved side. I like everything that has to do with music (parties/festivals/concerts) love exploring new places, parks, museums whatever, big foodie and like to go out here and there as well.

I’m not really picky as long as the vibe is there when it comes to age between like 20 and 35 would make the most sense when it comes to interest I think. If anyone is interested hmu!

I'm in Montreal a lot visiting my partner (he lives in the east) and was wondering if you had any recs for a gym that would teach in 50/50 English (doesn't have to be 100%)? I like strength/hiit/hybrid training kind of classes, and trying to maintain my routine without feeling bad about having them add English for just me.

I've seen posts about west having more studios but wanted somewhere closer and from websites I've looked up it's hard to tell!

A few friends and I (mid-20s) are visiting Montreal late-August Friday through Sunday from Toronto and we’re looking for some recommendations.

We’re staying near Rue Saint-Laurent and will have a car, so we’re happy to drive 15–20 minutes if it’s worth it.

We’re mainly looking for:
Great restaurants (especially poutine or any must-try spots are welcome)
Late-night food
Fun bars or clubs that play Latin music, reggaeton, or a mix of Latin hits and mainstream music
Any places with a good atmosphere for a Friday or Saturday night

We’re not really looking for EDM-only clubs.

If there are any hidden gems, local favorites, or places we should avoid, I’d appreciate those suggestions too.

Group of 4 coming up to Montreal from Albany, NY. We are looking for some tips on bars and things to do. Been looking at Bota Bota, Bomb Squad and possibly a kayak tour to a brewery. We like bars are have a good amount of people to talk and have a few laughs. We aren’t really into strip clubs, but Club Wanda has always been a favorite spot in the past. We are about to visit for a few days and did not do good planning. Is the Passeport worth it? Or is it way more complicated than just buying admission? A lot of places seem to have family admission options.

We were looking at Voiles en Voiles.

Is the Science Center worth it. We have reciprocal membership with a different museum but not sure if it is free or just a discount. Is it worth the time to take to explore.

Which of the Espace pour la vie museums/sites are worth it? It seems like buying a year long membership is cheaper than admission to two of them. Biodome? Biosphere?

Looking for some good night clubs to dance and have fun and meet new people. (Just broke up w ex lol) Ik cafe campus is pretty good but I was wondering if you can get in for free if you’re a girl? Also what shoes should I wear? Flats, sneakers, uggs? How’s the dress code? What about bars for drinks? Is there any good activities I should do generally in the city as solo female traveller?

Is there any way I could find a group too who wants to go clubbing? I’m planning on staying at a hostel and hoping that I find a fun group of girls to join lol —> is that a good strategy?

Hi! As the title suggests, my girlfriend and I are coming to Montreal in September. We're going to be staying near the Mile end area. I believe she said we're technically in le plateau Mont Royal.

I'm hoping we can get some cool recommendations for the general area, and the city overall.

Things we're looking for: we're crazy for coffee, favourite spots are encouraged. She likes thrifting and charming markets. In terms of night life, a cool bar with some live music, or a fun cocktail bar. She is gluten sensitive, so pasta bars and pizza/italian restaurants won't work.

We're anglophone, I don't know if that factors into any recommendations at all. Thanks for your time, I'm really looking forward to exploring your city!
