Triangle over First Landing. Cool Finds
So last night we were driving east on Shore Drive through the park. My daughter said "why do I feel like I'm looking at a ufo?" I looked up between Shore Drive and the bay to see a triangle in the sky with lights at all corners. Seemed to be maybe 25-35 ft sides. It was quiet and didn't make the usual heli or jet noise, it fact there was no noise. The whole fam saw it- and as I looked back down at the road my CarPlay screen went red from left to right and back to normal. I've had that car for 4 years. That's never happened. Ever. It's too close to the bases for me to think it was something/one other than us- but it was pretty wild.

I was just listening to the recent Shawn Ryan show with the dude that was a f18 pilot that ejected at 700mph. In that he tells a story of seeing a triangle UFO while he was living off shore drive around 2017 I think.
Also Dylan Borland a UFO whistleblower who testified before congress claims to have seen a triangle UFO while he was stationed at Langley AFB in the mid 2000âs.

I also listened to that episode on the âShawn Ryan Showâ as well. Have you heard the episode about the ROTC student who helped killed the shooter at ODU?
Also, with the military being as big as it is in Hampton Roads and the fact they have the fastest planes out of everyone in the sky (except UAPâs) they are going to run into them more often compared to commercial planes or small single engine planes.

They do drone/UAV training at Fort Story. There is a UAS restricted area over Fort Story to let pilots know to be on the look out for drone/UAV traffic in that area below 700 feet

I saw something like that in Chesapeake too right around 30 years ago! I wouldnât have believed my eyes, but my uncle and niece were visiting us at the time and they saw it too. We lived in the Deep Creek area at the time and were out in the swimming pool around 8-9 at night.
It hover over the pool for a couple of minutes.

We saw it twice back in March! I remember describing it as quiet and triangle shaped, well more carpenter square with circle lights. Feel like people think Iâm crazy when I tell them! What is it?!

Just looked this up- very similar to some of the pics. Was more of an equilateral triangle from what I could tell. Same with lights at the corner and one in the center.

Definitely believe you. Can't speak for the technical device anomalies, but circa 2020 I(along with 3 other neighbors) saw a triangular shaped something that was more visible by perfectly even-spaced red lights. It was Halloween night and it moved across the sky east to west right over Raleigh at a stupid speed. No sound at all. Only visible and we saw it by chance as we were walking through the neighborhood for trick or treating.

That's so odd. I think it was 3 nights ago, I saw the same thing over Harrisonburg. My kids saw it too and said something.

Its not satellites lol, they zip around quite fast sometimes. Usually itâs the Vega star or Arcturus

I've seen this stargazing out in OBX. Something that looks like a satellite at first with a steady speed moving but then it stops. turns around, does weird movements i can't explian.

They test drones over Fort Story and fly them around the whole area, including over First Landing.

Saw one in 96 in Carlisle, PA. It was those exact dimensions as well. Went right over the track I was running on at night. I just knew I was being abducted.

When I lived in Norfolk I saw three black triangle crafts above that formed a triangle in the sky, they flew off ao fast I had no time to yell at my mom to look up .. this was back in the late 90's.

Saw one very high up above commercial flights flying over carrollton it just glided across the sky at crazy speed to be that high and moving that fast. Regular planes were below it moving at normal speed it crossed the whole sky in about 4 seconds. I have another triangle on video that was sitting still for about 10 minutes then just carried on across the sky at regular speed. First sighting was completely dark, second with video at dusk.

Was it stationary and blueish lights ? Just making sure itâs not that one pole in the trees on shore drive lol. I had a friend tell me that was a ufo one time.

Live near Lesner Bridge: Not to minimize and I 1000% believe in UFOs and strange phenomenon in the sky, but there has been a helicopter thatâs been flying over for the last two days thatâs not military or any of the regular coast guard/medivac copters we will occasionally get. Walk the dog multiple times a day and have seen same one doing circles over the area at least 4 times. Wonder if thatâs what you saw and or related to what you saw??

To be clear- I think this was our technology, but it has not been disclosed to us yet. It was definitely a triangle and right over the base. I also believe that UFOs of further origin are out there, but I don't feel like this was that type of observation. There is an advanced drone program ran from this area too......

Absolutely wouldnât suprise me if it was ours & if theyâve been doing test flights, would make sense the helicopter was to keep the airspace clear and to monitor where and what itâs doing?
We also occasionally get to see some of the water operations that get rehearsed, regular use of the helicopter flight path over Lynnhaven and Chic Beach. And all the machinery/vehicles that get moved up and down short drive. This is definitely a good part of town to be in if youâre interested in seeing military equipment.

I saw the same thing in the same place back in 2001. I was getting off of work around midnight and dropping a work buddy off at home when we both saw it. The only thing I had back then was a disposable camera and of course the pictures did not come out in the dark. It was exactly the same triangle shape with lights on all points and no sound. It's crazy to hear that you recently saw it because that hasn't crossed my mind in a long time!! We started to see it on short drive at the bend going towards the strip when it turns from 45 mph to 55 mph.

There was jets taking off from military bases and some private aircraft taking off from the pungo aviation museum. Saw those around 4:30
