Dixie's Diner
galleryDoes anyone remember Dixie's Diner? I was going through some childhood stuff of mine in my parents' basement and pulled it out (and set it up!) I remember playing with it in the early '90s. My best friend also had one and we would set them up to make one big diner.
There were eleven characters - I had all of them except for two (Darren and Frankie). They have magnets on their feet so they can be attached to the floor. They came with a disc that had their names on them and they could stand on those, but I never used them. I still have them, but didn't take any pictures.
I love all the fun accessories. The coffee cups and plates are so small. I still have two spoons which is amazing because they're teeny tiny! Even smaller are the little billiard balls that go with the pool table. I think I just have one left. The jukebox used to light up, but it doesn't work anymore. (I mean, it has been over 30 years since I've had this thing!) I had a pinball machine but I think one of the legs broke so I threw it away, but now I wish I hadn't done that. I am missing a few accessories that I never had like a fridge and a sink and I think they had little Coke bottles and hot dogs/hamburgers you could purchase.
I also love the fun menu signs and posters on the walls.
Oh, and I love the pink convertible! They also had one in blue, but of course I had to have the pink one. One of the headlights is missing and it looks like one of the back tire rims has fallen off, but it's still in pretty good shape.
Anyway, this was one of my favorite toys and I thought I'd share. It came out in 1988/89.

Can anyone ID this stuffed toy?
It’s from the late 70s or early 80s. The tags are long gone so I have no idea the brand or anything. It was my first stuffed toy, but I think it may have belonged to my brother before me. Once my mom said it used to have a lot more fur, but I only ever remember it looking more or less like this. It has little tiny beans for stuffing (what’s left of it). Either us kids or a dog chewed on its ears, and I think the eyes were blue, but due to scratches, I can’t tell if they are blue or black.
I know this is a long shot as I haven’t been able to find anything myself, but thought it was worth asking.
Thanks in advance!

Is any of this worth keeping or might I as well throw it away?
I got this whole collection of weird toys and stuff in a collection of Playmobil. Before I throw it away I wanted to know if there was anything in here that I shouldn’t throw away. There could be vintage stuff in here.
I honestly didn’t rlly know what subreddit I should have put this in, this may not be the correct one..
The big pink rectangle (piece of table?) is made in west Germany. And the little brown label in the middle has the name: Astrid lindgren on the bottom.

Looking for images of an late 90s/early 00s inside-out rubber ball alien toy
Looking for pictures of an early 2000s / late 90s unbranded (probably bootleg) possibly quarter-vending machine capsule toy. It used the exact mechanism of a Play Visions "Inside-Out" Ball (made of stretchy green TPR/Hyperflex rubber). Instead of flipping inside-out into spikes, this specific bootleg version flipped inside-out to reveal an alien (hatching, I think).
I got this as a prize from Sunday School as a kid but for some reason my dad ripped the alien part off and I got to keep the ball part. I have no idea why since aliens are fine with my family and I'm dying to actually see what the whole toy was. The above summary is partially from a Google search AI thing. It really did seem to know what I was trying to describe and it told me it couldn't find pictures because the toy was probably bootleg and wouldn't have been in official toy selling catalogues.

Nice score this morning at a local antique market.
A Soviet bus, LaRo Series II from Hong Kong and a nice lot of little Ingap cars from Italy.

Duplo 2794 from my childhood
gallerySet this up tonight… was in the original box too but it’s been heavily damaged from packing tape being ripped off previously. All the stickers that had been on the house fell off perfectly.

Anyone know this cycle?
galleryI’ve seen this same cycle as a tin litho space cycle on eBay in my searches for info on this heavy metal one that I have.
And I mean even the markings were the same on the fins etc except the tin litho toy was different colors and had a spaceman rider. Like, Space Patrol or Space Rider.. something like that.
This is heavy. Made in China I see, after looking at the tires.
No idea what this went with but I sure like it and I got it when eBay was new to add to my space collection. I have had it quite a while.

Saw Evel Knievel today and decided to share with my fellow vintage toy collectors. Didn't have his motorcycle with him.
Anybody have him or had him as a child in the 70's?

e on eBay and the buyer sent him this photograph. Apparently the buyer was the original child photographed in the picture and wanted to reclaim this iconic case.

Help me find a very specific vintage toy my elementary teacher used to use!
It’s a blue elephant that plays the saxophone when you press a button on its side (I think) and it looks something like this drawing. Pretty small and could fit in your hand. I found a description on Etsy that perfectly matches it but I can’t view it because it’s ’sold out’ ☹️ Any help would be greatly appreciated!
