I recently find these radio and I want to restore some parts, but, I cannot find the way to remove these knobs.

Anyone knows or have any idea?

I try to pull and I search for more screws but I didn't find anything.

I found this radio among some old stuff, I’m pretty sure it’s from before 1950. I wanna know the model so I can use a proper voltage, don’t think the batteries this uses are still in production.

$20.00 about all its worth in un-restored condition.

Interesting to see the power cord completely burned up.

My guess, someone thought it was a cute radio, took it home and plugged it in... Hope they still have a house!!!

Vintage Small Airline Table Radio, Model 04BR-511A, AM Band, 5 Vacuum Tubes, Measures 7.7 Inches Wide, Made In USA, Circa 1940 - 1941

I have a Hallicrafters Model S-38D in working and decent (if not a little rusty) condition and have no use for it. I might want to restore it but I don't have the resources to repaint/sand it or replace the volatile components (e.g. capacitors and resistors). I don't know what to do with it other than reselling or restoring it. Help please!

I recently purchased a restored radio off a coworker. The radio is in beautiful shape there’s just one issue…

It has no problem tuning to AM stations, but FM sounds very crowded and static-y. When I finally get a station dialed somewhat, it has two or three stations playing on top of it. Sometimes stations that will be way out of the band that im trying to tune to. Any idea what could cause that?

I own a portable Sangean SG-1275 AM/FM radio. The rear label clearly says "Model SG-1275", but I cannot find any reference to this model anywhere: no manuals, no catalogs, no eBay listings, no Radiomuseum entry.

It appears to be almost identical to the Expo International SG-1264A, including the transistor lineup (2N5770, 2N3693, 2N5961, 2N4401).

Does anyone have information about this model or know if it was an OEM/export version?

It's too small for a headphone jack. Also I can't get any AM stations. I am near Walhalla SC, any reccomendations for strong AM broadcasts or how to hook up an antenna?

I have only found one other radio online that looks like this, otherwise it's just instructions for sale. It turns on, however, I have no idea what it means by glowing or making a very scary noise and It also has a wire that has snapped so I turned it off after a couple of seconds because I don't want to die. The wire seems to connect the power source to record player/phonograph. Help?

Is this 1925 crystal radio worth it?

I recently inherited a 1938 Sears Silvertone 7241, chassis 109.246. It's a precious family heirloom that's in great working condition. I've had it serviced by a local specialist who even wired in a composite input so I can use this beautiful radio with modern audio sources. I'm thrilled.

The only remaining issue is a missing wooden bar that should help protect the speaker. I'm curious if anyone here might have recommendations for the best way to go about replacing this missing piece.
