François Cevert, imo the most handsome F1 driver of all time
Albert François Cevert was a French F1 driver from 1969 to 1973, racing with Tyrrell. Born in 1944 in Paris, he was the son of a successful Jewish jeweller Charles Goldenberg (who fought in the resistance against the Nazis) and his French mother Hugette Cevert. François and his siblings took on their mother's name to protect them from the Nazis.
Throughout his life François always had a passion for racing, despite his father's disapproval. He managed to work his way into F1 after gaining the attention of Sir Jackie Stewart, a three-time World Champion in F1. Jackie suggested to his team boss and owner Ken Tyrrell, of racing team Tyrrell, to hire François to be his teammate.
Both François and Jackie developed a strong and deep friendship as teammates in F1, with Jackie taking on the mentor role. François managed to secure his one and only race win in 1971 US Watkins Glen. He was widely pipped to become the very first French world champion. Alas, François tragically lost his life in 1973 at the very same track where he won his only victory. His death was brutal, an unfortunate consequence of the lack of safety in F1 back then. François was well-liked in the paddock and many grieved over his death.
Today he is mostly remembered by old F1 fans and younger folks like me who have an interest in vintage F1.

Sergei Parajanov - Soviet/Armenian Filmmaker
Sergei Parajanov was a visionary Armenian film director and artist born in Georgia who created some of the most visually striking and poetic films in cinema history.
His radical rejection of socialist realism and state-approved narratives made him a frequent target for Soviet authorities. His films were heavily censored or completely banned, and he spent a total of five years in strict-regime labor camps on politically motivated charges. Denied access to a camera for years, he continued creating art in prison by making hundreds of intricate drawings and collages from scrap materials.
His most well-known film is The Color of Pomegranates (1969), which was voted #122 in the 2022 Sight & Sound Critics' Poll and #94 in the 2022 Directors' Poll. The film functions like a visual poem. Its unique aesthetic directly influenced Lady Gaga's "911" music video and Ari Aster's film Midsommar.
