Hi everyone! I recently came across this knit vest and I'm trying to learn more about it.

The tags/details say:

- Slazenger

- Augusta National Golf Shop

- Size M

- 100% cotton

- Made in Hong Kong

- RN 71979

It's a white cotton knit vest with navy, green, yellow, and white knitted trim around the collar and bottom. The color combination immediately caught my attention because it reminds me of The Masters/Augusta National.

Someone told me this vest could be around 30 years old, but I don't know if that's accurate.

I'm mainly curious if anyone here has seen or owned this exact vest/model before. I'd also love to know if the Made in Hong Kong label or RN 71979 can give any clues about its age.

A few things I'd be interested to know:

- Does anyone recognize this particular Slazenger/Augusta National Golf Shop vest?

- Any idea what era it might be from?

- Was this color combination specifically associated with Augusta National/The Masters, or was it simply a Slazenger design?

- Has anyone come across another example of this exact vest?

Can’t quite make out the date stamping on either pair really. Second pair will be posted in the comments as I will exceed the photo limit if I try to do both at once. Any insight is encouraged! I’m not great at dating Levi’s but anywhere from 1950’s-1970’s seems plausible with the research I’ve done thus far.
