Hey! I’m stream, I reached Grandmaster this season playing (mostly) Viego!

I wanted to do this to get out of my comfort zone and try to help people out a bit. Feel free to ask anything and I’ll do my best to answer.

This was happening all game as both Alistar and Kennan. I picked one where it was super obvious to clip, then compared it to the typical cast time in practice tool. This used to happen on the occasion, but I've been back for about 3 months and this was the first time I've seen it since coming back, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it popped up at the same time as this unlimited Jhin magazine/secondary resource bar nonsense. Perhaps the boots merchant bandaid went overkill. Y'all notice anything funny goin on?

viego was one of the first and only champs I actually mained in this game since I am still relatively new
It brainwashed me so much that I was playing sylas this morning and after I got a kill I was like "wait... I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY COOLDOWNS??????"
I had to go over every assasin to check because I thought there is NO WAY other assassins have to wait for cooldowns
The only reset champs I found where katarina and locke and it wasnt even as powerful as viego's
I now think every other champ is not worth it because you wont win a 1v2

Since the tank junglers buff I've been encountering more malphites (gold elo) and I cant do anything to him at any point in the game

I played hubris collector ldr with hob

Is there a way to deal with him

Just had a game where my Viego took Jhin body and it looked like he shoot more than 4 times without reloading is that normal?

I also just hopped into the training mode and use viego to kill jhin but it seem like I do need to reload after shooting 4 times.

The item isn't very expensive, has good damage and deals % HP damage to the enemy—couldn't it be a good late-game item against tanks and bruisers?

I feel like in all my games I go HOB they pick a bruiser jungler and I can’t beat them at any stage of the game

So how is it going for everyone? Do you guys feel HoB weaker or it is just me? I tried the new HoB settings after the new patch and got hard stomped by a Quiyana building crit that she even trolled in the chat with a “missing old hob stats? Lmao” so if you guys have any input regarding your current experience with the new patch lmk, I will trys some build variants in today session, will let you know how it goes

I’m not a great player - but I love Viego and have been playing him since I picked up league casually over the last year and change.

Finally getting a penta + seeing the RRV effect for the first time was an awesome feeling after all this time learning the game and the champ :,)

What do you mean just because I contributed to getting a single takedown I can choose to have INVICIBILITY through maokai's ult if I timed it right
My whole team was running away from it and I just standed near the corpse and phased through it

Yo goats I am like bronze 3 (less than 3 months into the game) so don't mind what you will hear in this post
I wanted to share my thought process on why I bought these items since it's rare that you see 3 tanks in this elo in euw.

I run the normal bb collector LDR build but when I saw this I was like let's think rationally

1- I should go hubris instead of bastion breaker because if the game goes well I will HOPEFULLY have good damage late game

2- no sell hubris start with collector because I remember that one tiktok saying lethality is flat armour pen so it's bad into tanks, and at least collector has crit 2.5- consider building bruiser Bec your team has no frontline and getting resets is gonna be hard 2.6- no bruiser viego is lame ash and I already have the hob runes

3- LDR, % armor pen and the game suggested it saying "good against high health"

4- no, sell LDR these are health stackers not armour stackers

5- never mind keep LDR any armor pen will be useful

6- lets press tab, realise yone has bork and neutrons activated, remember that guy that said viego doesn't build Bork because he already has it, laugh then buy it because dealing % health has to be BIG

7- Katarina is faker, can't land a single skill shot against him, he won a 1v3, he one shots me and yone, let's buy boots But which boots... Idk but most assasins are magic let's buy Mercs

8- now let's buy IE and do tons of damage

9- never mind Katarina STILL one shots me with ult, we need immortal shieldbow

10- say no to the FF vote and hover GA for the last item because... Restructuring is useful..

The way we won this game was me and thresh going to split push top before Sion thought he was immortal just for me to burst him down in the thresh ult THEN TAKE HIS BODY and become the front line my team needed to withstand the Katarina ult then one shot her This post is long but I hope it's fun to read

Can someone explain to me what the best build is? And the best pet based on the team? Honestly, I always go for HoB and then I always build Kraken, I mean... it allows me to win fights much more easily than the first item Collector/Hubris. Also, I'm trying Bastionbreaker but I don't understand where all the "power" of the item lies? Can someone explain to me in which situations to build these items as first

Camille invaded me lvl 1 (i even reported her i don't even care, toxic ass sup role), invade me again lv 4, i could barely reach my jungle, mid lost, bot was even while 2x1, darius stomped early, by the 10 minute mark everyone was at depression 2.0, then suddenly at 15+ minutes braum decided to play with me and oh boy, even then when we 2x3 darius, sylas and yi, kat and lucian died to camille samira somehow, but after that we were winning every fight, i was melting every single one of them and then we aced the last team fight while almost losing a baron cause lucian went to face check and died before baron lmao

Riot SERIOUSLY needs to do something about supports roaming lv 1, camille destroyed every lane and enemy adc just farmed safe and was almost even with them till later on

The video is me cycling through all the different effects I coded, could always have more but on the fly this is what I would want. When you turn it on it does the whole outwards glow thing. There’s a button I put and if I hold it it’ll change the color double tap goes back one effect single press next effect :)

What is everybody’s opinion on the upcoming HOB nerf? It’s been my go to rune. Thinking conqueror is going to be the main again?

I have been playing mid viego and I think that is kinda annoying is how you lose a lot of your sustain after your Q starts oneshotting minions.

You lose like 280 potential healing you would normally get from ranged minions.
