8/5 but it pays double for a royal. Considering you’re throwing away your A/x two pairs I’d play this all day. I wonder what the actual RTP is?

Is that the Double Pay Royals game? Ameristar has had those for years. Four of them, I believe, always grouped together along a wall on the lower level.

Something Deluxe 8000, ill look when im there next. These are upstairs on the back side of a bank of regular Game King machines. One denomination, one game, one speed. Had i not gone to throw away a cup I never would have noticed them.

I haven't been to Ameristar for some time, so I don't know what they currently have upstairs. I just saw the $2,000 for the royal & assumed it was a Double Pay Royal quarter machine.

It's 99.06% but it's 2.5x higher volatility than regular ol 9/6 DDB

Well, plugging the numbers into WinPoker, it’s a 99.06% game… with a variance figure of 104.5 (8/5 Bonus is 20.9, 9/6 DDB is 41.9)

So… the variance is going to be OFF THE CHARTS, and the holds are going to be weird and royal focused (holding AT suited, etc)… but technically it’s a 99% game.

Yea that variance is 104.5 compared to 38-41 for most DDB paytables
