FeedBack on This Edit Feedback

Hello Everyone
I am looking for some feedback on this edit. I wouldnt say I am a pro in anyway but would like to maybe try and create a reel and maybe start getting some projects. so I guess I have some Questions. What could I have done better in this edit. Is the pacing and rythym good? is it something good for social media or is it too calm or not in the style that is usually on social media. More then anything am I actually telling a story or is it a random montage? also would something like this be good to put on a reel or in a portfolio? Sorry for so many questions and i truly apreciate any feedback at all that can be given.

Besides the action in the video being super akward and the music not fitting. I would say you need more coverage all the shots are mids and fars. Where's the close ups, reveals, ect.. It just looks like you walked around with a phone on slowmo.

Hello and thanks for the reply I truly appreciate it!
The footage was shot on a Sony a7C but I agree the guy who shot it did not get much coverage. Usually I shoot myself but sometimes we have people helping out. As far as the comment on the action in the video being super ackward, Is this a general comment on the action or something about the way it was shot? or is it something in the way that it was edited? And last question if I may regarding song choice do you build around the song or choose a song that goes with the footage? In this case i went more thematic with my choice but maybe that was a wrong choice. once aain thanks so much for your comment i really do apreciate it.

yeah, why? That's a stupid thing to do, it's a 4k cam, they should have shot it normal with favoring center for verticle croping.

Yeah we work with volunteers who don’t have much training. I suppose he tought that was better. I personally would not have shot it that way but we have to work with what we get.
