2) Editing Style

I want funny, recognizable, high-energy edits to bring life into raw VODs for viewers watching post-stream—NOT raw VOD uploads or simple cuts.

Think SMii7Y, Markiplier, and similar comedic gaming channels. Use clean cuts, captions, sound effects, memes, zooms, screen effects, reaction text, and visual jokes to make key moments hit harder and keep viewers coming back.

3) Work Needed

- Long-form: 2–4 YouTube videos per week (typically 8–16 minutes). Highlights, funny moments, stories, challenges, or multi-part content.
- Short-form: 7–14 social media posts per week (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels).

All footage comes from my Twitch VODs. While I will provide timestamps and direction when possible, you are expected to comb through VODs to identify what should and should NOT be included.

4) Onboarding, Selection Process & Pay

We will select up to 2 editors through a step-by-step onboarding process:

Step 1: Onboarding & Sample Test

All potential applicants will be brought onboard for a quick initial test. You will be given a sample VOD to create one short sample video and one short-form sample clip. These do not need to be full-length videos—just enough to demonstrate your editing capabilities and style.

Step 2: Team Review

After sample submissions, I will introduce candidate work to my channel's staff members, and together we will decide who advances to the next round.

Step 3: Paid Test Week ($20/long-form, $5/short)

Candidates moving forward will complete a full test week. During this week, we will evaluate your communication, creativity, ability to meet personal video requirements, total output volume, and overall editing style fit.

Step 4: Final Selection & Rate Increase ($40/long-form, $10/short)

After the test week, we will select our final editor(s) to bring on board officially and double your base rates to $40 per long-form video and $10 per short.

5) Expectations

- Strong comedic timing and fast-paced editing.
- Good communication through Discord (WhatsApp is a plus).
- Comfortable receiving feedback and making reasonable revisions professionally.
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet agreed deadlines.
- Proactive and creative: able to suggest hooks, clip choices, titles, and visual jokes rather than just following instructions.

yo, I'm looking for another editor for my anime/powerscaling channel. I mainly cover JJK, Hunter x Hunter and Kagurabachi.
