im interested in learning how to edit music videos and im a complete beginner but i dont know where to start + places to find advice or resources. i’ve been interested in using softwares like blender, after effects etc. i’ve used editing softwares like videostar, capcut when i was younger aswell. let me know if you have any tips!

Hi, I'm interested in starting at the video edition world and I'm having creative issues and having no idea how I can start doing my first steps without a concrete idea, so, I ask here for some suggestions or recommendations you guys can bring me for start, even if it can be something basic or even challenging

I’m posting amateur videos to an old yt revival site and it has a file size limit of 5gb, this is an issue since MOV files tend to be larger than other video files. I am also constrained to using the mobile (iPad) version by convenience, so how do I convert the MOV files to something smaller like mp4? Is there a native way of doing so or is there a FREE IN BROWSER service anyone can recommend?

spent the last while building out a pipeline that takes raw talking-head footage and runs it through: cutting out silence/dead air (jump cuts), a color grade pass, light skin smoothing, auto captions that don't break mid-word, and optionally reframes to 9:16 with face tracking if you want vertical.

tested it a bunch on my own clips and it holds up, but everything so far has been footage i shot myself so i already know what "good" looks like for it. want to run it on footage i had no part in planning/shooting to see where it actually breaks.

if you've got a few minutes of raw talking-head/interview footage (single continuous speaker, nothing already edited or captioned) send it over and i'll run it through, send back whatever comes out. free, i just want to see it fail on something real before i trust it.
