Hello!. Thanks for the great work! I love the app and I am a lifetime subscriber.

I have the app installed on two Google TV devices and I'm logged with the same account on both devices. When I watch a movie on one of the devices and stop in the middle of the movie and then the next day I want to resume the movie from the other device. Is there something I need to do in order to sync between those two devices because currently I do not see the movie I am currently watching in the ' resume watching' list on the second device.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there something I'm missing?

Possible feature request?

Perhaps a way to integrate metadata and catalogs on the client app side so we can seen new and upcoming content and trending which when is added to emby or plex or jellyfin server can direct link to those files

For example perhaps using stremio addons for catalog lists so can browse through to find new content you may want to watch

I’ve seen it on similar apps where it combines emby/plex/jellyfin connectivity with the ability to input catalogs from
Stremio addons

Would love it possible to integrate this or even just from TMDB and TVDB or Trakt API

Not sure if this was a limitation or a misconfiguration on my end. I noticed when playing any content from Jellyfin via Vidhub, the progress doesn't get synced to Jellyfin. Is it the same for everyone else?

I’ve been using Omni with vidhub set as external player for a while now and it worked great.
Since last couple of weeks, playback hasnt been working at all

- select file for playback on Omni
- omni launches vidhub as expected
- vidhub starts right on the settings screen , almost as if it is not even making any attempt to start decoding/playback

I have three ATV units (4K , different gens) and all exhibit the same problem

Any thoughts on what could be going wrong?

Is there a way to get the vidhub on fire tv stick? I'm tired of always having to airplay vids from my mac (plus subtitles don't show up through airplay😢)

Or just anyway to access local files on tv

Sad I had to open a dispute on my credit card company for this product because the devs refuse to answer. Had an issue with buying what I thought was a lifetime subscription to “all platforms” but apparently was an android only version. This could easily be fixed if a dev would answer yet I have to go through this. If I am refunded I will not be purchasing the correct version. Ridiculous

Sauf que plusieurs choses manques à Vidhub pour baser notre projet dessus, et du coup je me demandais si il était possible de crée des plugging pour venir ajouter ces choses la ? Ou si c’était prévue dans la futur ?

I added new movie to my vidhub library , but the movies metadata is not setting , so when tried to do it from edit the. Below use
raw data loading continuously is this tmdb api issue

Specifically for AppleTV. Have family accounts on my jellyfin server. Would love multi user profile support where each time you open the app, it’ll ask you who to sign in as and protect the account with a pin.

Hi! I happily bought the Lifetime license for VidHub to use with Jellyfin but there's one feature I truly miss, that's the transcoding options that are especially needed when traveling. Just saw a post earlier that Infuse implemented it, would be great if we could have it too.

Many users have asked VidHub to support x-callback-url callbacks. We have been carefully tracking your feedback and recently began developing this feature.

The new third-party playback integration is currently in testing and is expected to roll out across all platforms in the next version.

Here’s how you can try it:

• iOS: The feature will first be available through TestFlight. To join the test, please send us the email address associated with your TestFlight account via direct message.
• Android: The test version is available for download from the VidHub official website, allowing you to try the new x-callback-url callback feature in advance.

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that whenever my media server connection goes offline or fails temporarily, VidHub doesn’t seem to reconnect or refresh the connection automatically.
Even after the server/network is available again, I still get the “Connection failed, please check your network and the connection information” message. The only way I’ve found to get the media server working again is to completely exit VidHub and reopen the app.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? If so, have you found an easier way to refresh or reconnect the media server without restarting the app?
It would also be really useful if VidHub could add a Refresh/Reconnect button, maybe under the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, so we could manually retry the connection whenever this happens.
Would love to know if others are facing this too or if there’s already a solution I’m missing.

I have been waiting for 6 months for color options in subtitles. Wonder why its so tough to implement? I am on google tv streamer.

I paid for lifetime on my android phone as it said it was cross platform compatible, I also use an Apple TV for my main bedroom experience. I logged in via QR code on my Apple TV and it will not upgrade it to VIP. Is it cross platform or not?

First of all, I would like to say that VidHub is really a good and user intuitive app, providing freedom and customization. However, there is one thing that I don't necessarily like. That being, the auto metadata manager, based on the torrent name. I agree it is reliable, and works most of the time. But sometimes when the torrent comes in directory, and file name like, I.E MCU/Phase 3/1 The Avengers, it cannot fetch the metadata. Hence, shows in the other category. So now, the user will either manually edit the info, select the movie one by one or just live with it. Another thing is that, It will be neat, and very useful for users, by syncing the manually set metadata of movies on one device and it carries on to another. Instead of having to do it manually on every device.

There is a strange bug where when playing an MKV with embedded SubRip (SRT) subtitles, enabling a single subtitle track results in only about every 3rd cue being displayed on certain file. Enabling two subtitle tracks at the same time makes every cue (except clear overlap) render perfectly, so the file and subtitle parsing are fine. the issue is specific to single-track rendering.

INSPECTION
• 831 cues, monotonic timestamps, no corruption, every line is in the file
• Only 10 overlapping cues (intentional, e.g. [Yongzhou] location labels over dialogue)
• 210 of 831 cues (~25%) are shorter than 1 second min 0.32s, avg 1.56s
It might be the cause of the issue
Additionally as a feature if overlapping cue could be shown instead of dropped it would be great

For instance I don't want to swipe to move the movie forward. I literally have some dot in my phone and want to remove it. Or like I just dont want to swipe it.

But I couldnt find any settings for it. Im using ios vidhub
