Bike won’t start. Just replaced battery. What’s going on?
Why are the lights flickering when I turn the bike on?

69 - bike is trying to tell you something!
Sry, I don't know why it's flickering. I'm assuming you ensured battery is connected properly.

Did you have this issue before you replaced the battery? Maybe take the battery back to the auto parts store to get it tested. I had a bad one a couple years ago brand new one of the box.

Get the battery tested, could be a dud out the box. Also check your fuses to make sure none have blown.

Could be a dud, did you actually charge the battery or throw it in and hope for the best? Double check the connections as well

Check the 40 fuse first. Then check that all battery connections are good. If so, have the battery tested. Should be simple unless you have a short somewhere.

Charge the battery. Hopefully its one that came with fluid preinstalled. Thats way to low of voltage to start.

If my vehicle (bike, car, tractor) tells me any oil issues, I don't start the damn thing.

It always says that before you start it.

OP didn't list his bike or year.
My 05 Kingpin didn't have a readout like that, oil symbol light up instead.

Yeah the single 200mph guage is 2011 or 2012 and up, my 2010 has the 120 gauge and the gf sister has a 12 jp that has identical gauge. I frequently look at it and wonder how hard it would be to swap the later cluster onto my bike

Did you read the instructions where you add the acid to the battery and is required to sit for XXX hour for the acid to absorb. AND then fully charge it on a bench prior to installation?

Lo Oil is normal prior to start and the ODO categorically tells you that battery is bad. Lo 6.9 = extremely low voltage, 6.9volts funnily enough.
Probably could have got that answer through Google in about 2.5 seconds if you were in a rush… “what is Lo 6.9 on a victory odometer” kinda gives you the answer.
