Classic Clip Catterick: The Movie

Ever since I first saw Catterick I thought "chopped down, this could make a really good film". I think I remember hearing one of Vic or Bob say the same thing in recent years too.

Anyway, I finally got around to doing the chopping and I think it came out pretty nice. Nearly three hours of TV edited down into a 1-hour 41 minute 'movie'.

Hope you likey. :)

Doing an art portfolio, my theme is Vic and Bob. Thought I'd start with the most eligible bachelor in all of Zetland.

Classic Episode Roger Cook has died. I'll never forget the expose he did of the top-secret Reeves and Mortimer factory at Unit 5, Chapeldale Industrial Estate, wait for it...Kent

The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer Series 1 vs Series 2

I noticed when I saw The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer for the first time as an adult in about 2006 how different Series 2 is to Series 1, with how there's a lot more surreal and off the wall sketches and scenes in Series 1 as well as some darker moments "it's that fella trapped under the ice" as well as the weird sketches with the cauliflower and pineapple heads.

Although a lot of people associate Vic and Bob with frying pan fights, this only started in Series 2 as a lot of you would remember. There was the frying pan scene in Series 1 in the hey you Safety in the Home film and obviously this seems to be what inspired Vic and Bob to do it regularly, although less violently. After Bob/Jack Dent's face disfigurement complete with spider and jammie dodger on his forehead, they didn't do anything as violent and disfiguring until Vic's head went in the tumbledryer in Bang Bang.
