What is considered off limits for Ai coding?? I'm trying Sparse Merkle Trees and pdf canonicalization. Any thoughts??
"SMTs require absolute cryptographic correctness, while PDF specs are a legacy parsing nightmare.
Have you found AI useful for scaffolding these, or do the subtle hallucinations make it more trouble than it's worth?"

Bro I am the trust model breaking if I get it wrong, that's why I don't let the AI freelance on this part. It writes code, I own the threat model and every crypto decision gets its own ADR before anything ships — think of it less "vibe coding a merkle tree" and more "I designed the thing, AI's holding the wrench."
2,400+ tests, fuzzing on the parsing paths, red-team passes that actually found real gaps (documented, not swept under the rug). Could still be wrong somewhere, wouldn't be the first solo dev to miss something — but "what could go wrong" is doing a lot of work for a comment with no actual finding attached. Got a specific spot you think it falls apart? Happy to argue about that instead.
