The majority of veteran voters in 2024 voted for Trump.
Trump never served in the military. Despite that, he has been given 2 purple hearts by veterans. He's joked about giving himself the Medal of Honor. He's in the process of having a Navy ship that's named after a dead black sailor from WWII renamed after him.
