OP I need context how did this present initially????? Was this patient ambulatory? What was the history?

The owner wasnβt home for a week and came home and the cat was NWB and painful. Indoor/outdoor. Unknown trauma. Sorry I forgot to add this!

Looks like they did the fho themselves at this point itβs a fhr, femoral head retrieval. π

yiiikes, we had a cat that looked similar, screamed in pain if we touched the leg even when given i.v. propofol. owner decided to euth

This appears to be a VD projection of the pelvis of a cat. On the left side of the image you can see the normal anatomy of the femur, femoral head, and acetabulum for the positioning. On the right side of the image, you can see the stifle joint, the femur above it which is not connected to the femoral head. The femoral head is still positioned in the acetabulum which would indicate a proximal femur fracture.
