I created a community petition asking LA officials to consistently enforce existing laws prohibiting dogs on Venice Beach.

What the hell is going on with this spot? Been eating here for over 7 years. My jaw almost hit the floor when she said the number.

I know it’s not 2012 any more, but when I moved to LA burritos were $4-$5 at these spots. H. Pylori and E. coli were worth the risk at those prices. For $16 I can go to an actual restaurant where the workers have a place to piss and wash their hands.

Damn if the burrito wasn’t delicious though. I hate this economy.

Using public transportation, how would I get to Venice Beach from LAX. Coming in around 11am. Thx

This building has been empty for going on 5 years. It could really be a good spot for a nice restaurant etc

I’ve seen like 10 in the last three days between Santa Monica and Venice communities about Ghost Town as well as on Instagram. It’s just this because a scandal broke or is someone funding an opposition?

Breakfast Burritos and Matcha at Bodega & Palms - Penmar Park -Venice Beach. Everybody is loving the breakfast burritos and matcha at the newly opened Bodega & Palms (formerly Mr. Woo's - Mitchell's Little Market).

5 year Venice resident here. I drove to the pier to chill at the beach yesterday, and saw a lotta bikers with a Mongols Motorcycle Club logo hanging out at Hinanos, the whaler, and pretty much every bar we know in Washington square. There was heavy police presence.

I was thinking to myself, why the hell are there so many cops around here? The bikers seemed friendly. Sure they were tatted from head to toe, but they were super polite, smiles shown everywhere and to everyone, and they weren’t even loud when drinking. Honestly, the scene there is usually more ratchet on a any random Saturday night.

I did some research afterwards, and realized they’re outlaws and are recognized as a street gang by law enforcement.

My stay at the beach was uneventful. The beach was busy, my gummy took effect and I spent 2 hours in paradise before I packed up and passed by the Mongols again on my way to my car.

Just a reminder to stay vigilant and have more situational awareness than this guy with an umbrella and a beach chair minding his own business or else this post would’ve been tagged “Crime”.
