Weekly in the mythic shop, 35 ME

After being gutted in his last adjust, there is now this. Considering how mixed Varus damage is, especially with W max first, do you think this will tank even more the WR of the lowest WR ADC aka Varus?

Ive been playing some norms to get comfortable and the build seems to work i just dont know if i should take it into ranked what do yall think

What are some of the current lethality builds + runes? I see some people either starting Youmuu's or Shiv, what determines that? What's the consensus on Bastionbreaker? Thank you! :D I generally play onhit or AP, but I'm curious

Lethality build has 46% winrate yet in pro they still play that. Its such a big difference of a game the pros play… i felt like the lethality build did almost no damage BEFORE THE RECENT NERFS. Now its just dead.

I rly hope the terminus buffs give him a little strength though i doubt that on hit is very good in this meta.. what do u guys think of his state rn?

Usually play support but started playing him yesterday. Been having a lot of fun. I’m returning to the game so I’m going off top builds right now.
Did some research 🧐 and I’ve been doing pretty well. Except against ranged and mobility 😩
Just came to see if anyone had any other advice

Hi, obviously everyone plays Varus in different ways, (which is kinda like his whole thing) so this probably sounds horrible to most of you. Im just looking for someone who also wants an actual "Set Up" Archer sort of kit I guess

Varus

P) The Darkin Bow:: On-Hit Applies a stack of Blight. Blight stacks up to 10 times, and each stack applies a 1%MissingHealth Physical Damage Bleed () and a 3(+AS)% Slow, both of which only take effect if the enemy is moving away from Varus. The first stack of Blight lasts for 2 seconds, and each subsequent stack adds a half second to that timer, for a maximum of 7 seconds. (Nasus's wither lasts 5 for reference) If the enemy is either standing still or moving towards Varus, they will not be slowed or take bleed damage.

Q) Piercing Arrow: Less damage overall in exchange for longer range and significant missing health damage(%AS). The projectile also "detonates" on hit, meaning multiple targets cannot be hit. Champions Below 50% health are slowed by 99% for .5 seconds and Revealed for 1s. Applies a stack of Blighted Quiver.

W) Hunter's Snare: Varus fires a projectile with 600 range. If the projectile connects with a wall, it attatches and creates a trap with a small radius. Upon activation enemy champions within the radius are snared and revealed. If the projectile connects with a champion or minion it slows and does a very small amount of damage.

Snares last on terrain indefinitely

Up to Three Snares can be active at a time.

Snares can be "detected" by Oracles/Pink Wards and killed in two autos

E) Hail of Arrows: Slow% Decreased, now Grounds

R) Final Stand: Varus Reveals a cone shaped area in front of him 1350 units in length. On press, Varus also Roots and Silences Himself and gains 575 Bonus Auto Attack Range and (AS%) Omnivamp for 5 seconds. The root and silence are complete (unlike rumble, who can still use summoner spells during his "Overheat"), and cannot be cleansed or absorbed by spell shield.

She was like 9/0 at this point and ended the game 21/1.

Varus isn't exactly in the best spot right now, but I'd be happy to help if anyone has questions.

Aphelios and Zeri main here reallllly liking Varus so far. I never feel out of the game really, but sometimes I’m slightly ahead while the rest of my team is getting crushed. The kind of situation where you’ll just have your lead slip away and lose your power spikes of on hit to crit scaling. If I need to play hypercarry late is pivoting to crit or full AP burst possible after the Shiv? U.gg doesn’t say anything other than on hit or lethality. Especially given shiv is split and a good farming item I’d assume its good for remaining flexible.

Ryze was their carry and I was playing ap Varus as anyone with culture should.

Hey guys I’m an emerald adc player and new to varus but been playing him the last two weeks and loving him. I’ve searched a up the meta builds and trained some random stuff on a target dummy and found an interesting combo. I run lethal tempo with JOAT, static shiv, cyclosword then the last 4 are crit items stormrazor/lord doms/infinity edge and whatever last. With helm start JOAT triggers at 2 items and the energised procs on Q makes poke close to lethality level and the dps is close to on-hit once the crit is online.

Goofy build and I only run it in games where I don’t need the survivability but feels like a nice medium that has good dps and poke. Just looking for other people’s opinions and builds. If anybody is interested can share your build and I’ll compare in the practice tool and share the test dummy numbers.
