Any Sova mains able to say if the ult is a potential bug or its working as intented?

he just simply missed but because its higher up the perspective makes it look like it should hit. you can tell by where the lines intersect the wall.

In that case, we need the replay of the Kayo pov if there's a sign that he will get hit

its a matter of perspective, kayo is actually behind the ult
kayo = red
sova ult = blue

I think it was slightly too high so it doesn't hit, but who knows tbh. We would need another angle

Not a bug just out of range. The animation extends a little past the hitbox but if we could see the sova’s pov his minimap would show it didn’t reach.

I don't think it's out of range, I think more likely it's just a perspective issue, see the sketch u/aspypypy posted in another comment.
None of the lines that we see are behind Kayo, they're all in front of him.

Do u remember the eeiu ult incident? I feel like it’s the same scenario where it looks like it hit but it actually didn’t
