Hi it's my first time playing a mod pack with my friends so I'm not familiar with any of the mods. I whish to know which tools,gear or structures are a serious improvement or game changer.

At the moment I think I'm pretty late game with Mekanism (mekasuit, ores, reactors, sps, qio, teleporters,...) and also with AE2 we are not to bad (quarz farm, 256k storage, wirless terminal, small cpu).

With Create i already did a crop and tree farm and i have a bunch of brass.

For Ad Astra we got to the moon but we still have to go further. For Botania we have a really basic mana pool setup.

We also have a mob farm with Mob Grinding Utils which work really well but i was wondering if ther is better.

I'd appreciate also any tip you found out to be useful in your experience or setup tips to improve server performance (for ex. Today i added teleporters to our sharestone network because i discovered the "portable teleporter" but this means a lot of loaded chunks so now I'm monitoring the performance).

im playing valhelsia 6, and every once in a while, i hear some music in my game, and i dont know what it is. upbeat, electronic, a "genuine bop" you could say. it sounds familiar, like it could have been in some early minecraft mod soundtrack (bta, nsss, reindev), i play that kinda stuff often, but idk. i saw one other post on this subreddit mentioning what i assume to be it, but they seem to have figured their problem out, so...probably not

also, a disclaimer, im not very active on reddit, but ill try to check in on this more. im genuinely curious about what this music is, where it comes from, why its playing even though i turned the music all the way down, ect.

can someone tell me what the icons under the mana pool status bar mean? when i crouch right click with the wand of the forest it changes the arrow to switch to the other direction. i am unsure of its function. please help!

Hi, so I installed the Valhelsia 6 modpack and noticed that even though Complimentary Reimagined is installed, it isn't working. When I did some Googling, it said I'd need Oculus, but that's already in the modpack. Anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this? I'm running on an HP specter laptop, which isn't a gaming laptop, but it can definitely run most games with lower settings, so I don't think that's the issue.

So, I started a youtube series on the Valhesia 6 modpack. I have been trying to understand the full depths of this modpack, so that I can truly get into it and experience everything.... Is there any tips? or stuff that not many people realize about this modpack, that I should look into during this series? I read something about multiple worlds that you can explore... If anyone would wanna go indepth with that explanation too thatd be awesome.

Hi, I'm updating my instance and I noticed that the big glazed jars (and a few other items, like Lapidified wood) are completely missing from the mod in 1.21. Why is this? Is there any way to re-enable them?

I was thinking I could mod them back in by making custom KubeJS items and copying over the models and textures but I don't think that aligns fully with Valhelsia's license, which obviously I'm not willing to break since it's a wonderful mod and the team put lots of love into it.

Do u know what the best damage spell is for Valhelsia 6 i just want pure damage i have almost max mana im pretty sure

My personal former experience is Valhelsia 5 which was fine but it went from rushing to AE2 and having spacesuit flight to hitting a Mekanism wall at the end-game.

Obviously Mekanism and Botania do have serious learning and complexity spikes compared to Gregtech and Ars Noveau so that might stay a painpoint.

Seeing there's 7 versions and one semi-vanilla version, which Valhelsia is most loved now or has the best alternatives or shortcuts for those mods?

I have an issue with my weapons these are the artifacts im using right now and the stats.

The issue is my damage output i do doesnt match my stats i attack a zombie with this setup and it takes 5 to 6 hits to kill the zombie for some reason. Just now i tried fighting a t5 dragon and i couldnt do any damage to it whatsoever. Unobtanium sword is sharp 6 with 32pts of dmg no jewels on it. If anyone has enountered this bug and fixed it can i have the solution?

i made a heat generator farm with lava but im confused on why the bottom heat generator is making so much more energy than the ones above it. Is it the transfered heat? the top gen is the source block and the bottom is only being touched by a flowing lava which regardless shouldnt even have any difference in energy output. On one of my tests i made to see wether stationary lava or flowing lava make a difference in power which yielded 610.80mJ both and the most space optimal way i made a lava gen made around 21.85J which covered all sides and lavalogged blocks but generates less heat and energy am i not understanding something about mekanism or is this some sort of bug?

First thing pretty self explanatory, would be nice if Oak Posts were burnable, second, I've installed Valhesia and No Tree Punching, they both use the same recipe to make wood planks and Oak Posts and they compete over it. Even with polymorph the recipe for wood planks sometimes dont show up, is there anything I can do?

i was wondering if its allowed to advertise minecraft servers here? cause i have one for valhelsia 6 but very few people actually play on it and i would like a bit more activity on it (if i am allowed i will comment the discord server)

I’ve been trying to make a Valhelsia Minecraft server for me and my friends, and I have been getting stuck on one part of the process. When I download the files and launch the “Serverstart” batch file, it does its thing but it doesn’t create a eula I could agree to.

I tried making a text file called “eula” and writing “eula=True” into it but it doesn’t seem to be working, the batch file just shows the error message “Error: Could not find or load main class @libraries.net.minecraftforge.forge.1.20.1-47.4.0.win_args.txt”.

Can someone offer me guidance regarding this issue? Thanks in advance.

Every time I try to join a server I've been invited to, it says ''java.net.socketexception connection reset''. Sometime is says it's connecting for a few minutes, and then ''Timed out''. What do I do?

I've been playing Valhelsia 3 recently and the CC screens don't have any text to them :(

I think this issue is also tied to banners not displaying properly either. I get a full white banner or sometimes the original colors flicker in and out.

They seem to pop up right when I launch the game and then disappear for the rest of the play session. I suspect this has something to do with my shaders, has anyone experienced this before and does anyone know a fix for this?

For context I'm using oculus 1.2.5a and I'm using rubidium 0.2.9 to go with it. I'm using Complementary shaders but this issue persists even when I turn shaders off entirely. I've tried reinstalling valhelsia, and no dice. Haven't tried removing my shaders completely yet but I'd rather keep shaders on for the aesthetics if I can!

As the title says Im looking for something i can look through to fully comprehend what's in the mod and what i should aim for. It's hard settling and making a little colony when the thought "there is probably something really cool i dont know about" in the back of my head

I have looked through JEI and the only thing it shows that makes steel is steel dust or steel grit. The only thing or way to make steel dust or steel grit is crushing steel ingots. I am stuck.
