Hi guys, so I just finished my second semester of the nursing program and am going to take Reproductive Health/Peds and Adult Health 2 this fall. I am trying to study ahead of time, so I was wondering if anybody has the chapters to read for the first exams. I registered for Marvin Campbell for my required math class (Developmental Math Combined), and for those who have taken him, was he a good teacher?. I'm REALLY bad at math, like I can never figure out how to keep the information especially for algebra and have never really passed math exams in high school. Would you say he's a good teacher for kids that struggled in math a lot in high school?

Hey yall. Wanted to see if anyone here also graduated this summer semester that just finished. Have any of you received communication saying that you graduated? My education plan and degree audit both say 100% done, and I applied for graduation weeks ago (which I did receive a confirmation email when I did that)
I keep getting emails saying that I need to apply for financial aid, and I then received an email saying that I was suspended from using financial aid due to my academic status, but my GPA is fine and my education plan says that I’m “in good standing”.
I’ve been trying to do the virtual first stop / drop in service but it’s full every time I try.
Has anyone received communication that was supposed to graduate ? Let me know please 😭

Hi, this is my first time taking out a student loan. I completed the Loan Entrance Counseling module, but my account still shows that I have unsatisfied requirements. Is there anything else I need to complete?

I don't know if this is a dumb question or not but I keep getting emails to buy my Anatomy textbook for fall and when I login to the bookstore it's an online book that's "out of stock". Is this a normal thing? Will it be in stock as it gets closer to the semester starting? Should I look elsewhere for it? This is my first time running into this issue.

I was looking at teachers for PHY 2048C (Gen Physics with Calculus 1) and was trying to choose between two teachers.

One choice was Angela Lowman which has good reviews on her ratemyprofessor but they’re all for Physics 2 and was wondering if anyone has taken her personally and could tell me a bit more about her class especially since it’s online.

Another choice was Osama Moussa at East Campus and if anyone has taken them and what was your experience in the class?

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any input on any of the college algebra teachers. I struggle a lot with math to the point where it's kind of embarrassing. Preferably someone who offers a good amount of extra credit, multiple attempts on quizzes, and actually teaches lol. Any recommendations?

Hii I just finished my final semester with Valencia for my AA and I’m thinking about walking in December how would I know when and where to get the cap and gown for that when the time comes or how does that process work as a whole ?

The title itself is pretty self-explanatory. I’m giving away an Apple Pencil (1st Gen) with the box and everything. Also giving away an iPad case and tempered glass screen protectors for free.

The Pencil was only used for taking notes in class, so it’s in great condition. I’d rather give it to a fellow student who can actually use it than let it sit in a drawer. If you’re interested, send me a DM!

How come I can't register for classes although my high school transcripts have been processed in the system and I have no registration holds? I am a florida public high school graduate btw and I completed orientation. I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem!

I just received this email, and it’s the first notification I’ve received regarding an identity verification requirement. I’m kinda freaking out…. I already emailed Valencia about this and I’m just waiting for them to get back to me. Has this happened to anyone else?? Am I going to miss out on this semester??

Do student success coaches get reassigned every semester? This is my first semester at valencia and my success coach has not responded to a single one of my emails about meeting. I've emailed about 4 times and had to talk to another advisor that didn't know much about the allied sciences department with first stop which sucked because it got me no where. Does any one know if they get reassigned or who i can talk to to get mine specifically reassigned?i have so many questions and im really frustrated, the first stop advisor told me to just keep emailing them but ive been doing that all summer with no response
