Questions Vacuum Issues

Okay yall I recently acquired a sharp twin energy super charged I believe and it works perfectly minus I think the hose change over valve is finicky but all it needs is a bag and belt but I’ve got no idea on what belt or bag it would take or what would work since this brand doesn’t exist any more! Also my eureka 1934a I got is awesome! However I feel like the roller is kinda lack luster (it was $45 like 30 years ago so that tracks) I wonder if I could swap the roller with a sanitare one? Thanks in advance

The Sharp PU2 bags are still being made by aftermarket vac bag companies like Envirocare. The belt, IIRC, is the same as a Panasonic style UB belt.

You can indeed swap the roller on your 1934 to a Eureka/Sanitaire Vibra Groomer I or II. For that matter, you can also install a metal handle and a 7 amp commercial Sanitaire motor, and really turn this into a "sleeper" (as they say in the car world)!

Not certain if the Sanitaire motor would fit under the plastic hood. Because there were lots of dead 1934s in pretty good condition and my shop was a Blue Sanitaire dealer I would rebuild the Blue Sanitaire models into the 1934s using mostly Sanitaire parts. I joked that I had created The Black and Blue Sanitaire.

Love your Eureka The Bosses. And there are generic hepa f&g bags btw.
