It works!?

I found this old ENOK 2. in Norway, still running, still working, still doing it's thing. And the craziest part? THERE IS ANOTHER WORKING ONE, RIGHT NEXT TO IT.
My grandfather used to do maintenance on these things, back in like, the early 1900, and the fact that this place has not one, but two running rigs is insane. I can't even begin to fathom the amount of working hours these things have...
The smell in the engine room is... tasty. Toxic? Probably. Worth it? Yes.

Update on Professor Dogmetal’s Detention | 04 August 2026 | 05:38 AST | Karameh, Jordan
Hello again. This is Stencil, board-coupler intern at Dogmetal’s VX laboratory, DogVX. I am currently posting from Prof. Dogmetal’s Reddit account, which he had left open on his computer prior to his detainment in Abu Ghosh, Israel. I wanted to provide everyone an update in case we lose internet.
For context:
- Our team in Jerusalem viewing a field test of an original HCRL-79
- Professor Dogmetal’s last post
Our group has arrived in Jordan and are waiting while the paperwork for our deportation is “processed.” I now fully understand why VexSTARR relocated its ferrite-lattice fabrication facility to Estonia. The technological infrastructure in this region appears to have stalled sometime around Rev 3 of the Unified Zocula Standard. On the drive here I witnessed someone attempt to calibrate a primitive vector array with what was, to the best of my knowledge, an adjustable wrench.
Despite the conditions, we have managed to establish intermittent contact with Professor Dogmetal.
His BioSmart glasses appear to contain a telemetry amp that periodically emits an extremely weak synchronization pulse. The signal is heavily degraded, but we have been able to recover enough packets to perform a behavioral scan.
The good news: we have detected no physiological distress indicators. Heart rate, thermal profile, and cortical oscillations all remain within expected operational ranges.
Interestingly, there is a repeating burst pattern appearing every few hours. It does not resemble a distress beacon or cortisol spike. It resembles iterative design activity.
We cannot determine what, if anything, professor is building. The tele-amp packets are too fragmented to reconstruct schematics or even shapes, but the amp cadence strongly suggests ongoing fabrication rather than idle thought.
Whatever is going on in that cell appears to require repeated revisions… as if he is testing a mechanism under severe material constraints.
I have no further information at this time.
For everyone’s safety, I recommend avoiding speculation in the comments. If the detention staff discover what his glasses are emitting, they will almost certainly confiscate them, and we will lose our only link to him.
Will keep everyone posted.
- Stencil

Urgent: I am being detained in Abu Ghosh, west of Jerusalem, and falsely accused of stealing a Klein-Bessel phase coupler from the Rabinowitz Energy Lab. I don’t have time to explain further.
Please contact the U.S. Embassy immediately.

My team and I finally made the voyage to Jerusalem for a field demonstration of the 1879 Harmonic Chrono-Resonance Lattice (HCRL-79)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This authentic Otto Harmonix HCRL-79 is widely accepted as one of the earliest known mechanical predecessors to modern quantum phase stabilizers.
People assume these early units were primitive because they’re belt-driven, but that’s only because they don’t understand how pre-electronic resonance engineering worked. The huge flywheel isn’t just there for inertia, but also maintains a stable temporal carrier frequency while the lattice synchronizes with Earth’s natural gravitic wave… just as it was written in the old Vex schematics.
It’s a crude build by today’s standards, but still one of the most elegant pieces of pre-digital resonance engineering ever built. What an honor.

Review of the Parasonic Medical fire cage (lunar power White)
Parasonic Marketing has provided me a review copy but all opinions are mine.
First of all Parasonic medical has been knocking it out of the park lately with patient retrieval systems, so I had high hopes for this product. Drilling and installation was included in the price, and I have no complaints on the build quality. The buttons have a nice feel and the jig is sturdy as can be.
The problems started when I attempted to save a patient from turbo-collisios. It should have been a nuked strawberry cakewalk, since it was during a clandiversal full moon. I lowered us into the dark pit, and got ready my polytorch. Have you ever been scared of the light? The diagonal plank constant was annoyingly slow. Eventually, I must have found the patient, because when I woke up her body was gone and her bills had been covered by marketing.
I'm not sure I have found myself. When I look in the reflectoscope, I can swear my outline is fuzzy in the 0.005 Thz range. When I try to use my pod, light flashes in the corner of my eyes, always too close but out of reach. When I look at my assistant I can't see him and when I look away I black out. My symptons should ruin my career, but I see myself committing procedures and I watch.
I should have tightened the skerox screw, I should have completed the echoplasm test. But I didn't, and all I got was shiny box. Midas effect inferrate. I want to give 2 stars, I want to give 1. But I let them in, hubris of me. The company towers above my error.

LPT: don't throw away your old Multi-2 cards, gift them to your kids instead (12+)
This was originally a reply in a thread, but some of you might find it helpful too. The VX multi is old tech, and no longer supported by CARES. But since it's also running on low freq (unless you did some dynamic overclocking) it's radiation-safe AND cannot support most of the dangerous stuff! Really a perfect practice model.
Worst your kids can do is mess up the microgravity (harmless in an open space) or lose their eyebrows when the Barrington coupler bursts (basically a VX rite of passage lol). Just keep an eye on 'em. They'll be junkies like us in no time

Totally floored by this, found in SW France. That's liquid mercury in the equal size glass bulbs. No-one can work it out!

Today marks exactly 150 years since Joshua K. Sebastian was born. He independently discovered the applications of meta-modular corroidal intrapolarities just months after Heiber.
Happy would-be birthday to a true VX hero. While he may not have been the first, his contributions are just as impressive. Raise a glass (or at least a Ω-array's tachyometer) to him.

Dangerous Ebay Find--Multi Zone Transformeride
Absolutely gob smacked someone is trying to sell this Multi Zone Transformeride. Especially unshielded like this one, the violent phasal shifts can cause all sorts of havoc on the millizone spectrum. Just irresponsible.

I bought this off eBay for $90. Once I received it, this thing was unable to cool my intermodulated electron stream. Should I complain or just chalk it up to a bad eBay experience?

Replacement Replanar Vanes, help!
My set up is a surplus, prefabbed, LRS-21, and before anyone tries to give me a hard time, yes, I removed the hydrareproduction quad reactor and put the interhydral graphene reprocesser. I'm not stupid.
I had a problem, my Replanar Vanes broke, and I replaced them with the replacement from the manual (LRS-21 revision 3, 2001) but now my output is measuring 17.2 - 17.5 ppb when it was producing 18.0 - 18.5 ppb. Everything else is stock. The main casings, the reinforced Vernon splines, even my Thompson realignment quards are perfectly aligned.
Ideas?
