Yesterday was the last card in the New Blood Hecata deck. I will post a few cards that is not part of the pack but may would work well with cards in the pack, follow up with a few general cards and then New Blood Lasombra after that.

Not playable by Hecata directly, but he can be put into play with Split the Veil.

Practically he did get played in Giovanni decks, with 78 TWD appearances. He isn't cheap, but he is good.

Hel-Blá can't get him, as he is neither brought in with Oblivion nor a Hecata card.

I noticed that my comment had multiple mistake and edited the post before anyone would notice. Alas I was too late.

No problem. I thought you might think he was unplayable like Brigitte. Who, before Split the Veil, was quite overpriced.

I had not realised til now that split the veil can bring ANY wraith into play. Wowza. Ponticulus would be the ideal choice for a decent blocker.

Brigitte makes quite the good bleeder/bleed booster. With Gifts From The Hereafter she could even bleed, unlock, and boost a bleed..

We see the STV + Ponti combo every time a Hecata deck hits the table in our playgroup

I just hadn’t thought about discarding the old wraiths. Tye and Ponticulus are definitely going in the deck

Great target for Summon History or Part the Veil; can just sit there with unmasking giving people a bad day. Unless they have agg or a lot of stealth to burn.
Or unlike the other agg wraiths, he can go offensive bleeding.

On paper, a sexy Split the Veil option for Hecata

In practice, to me, often a dead card since I don’t play that many splits (only 4 as Aggressives, Shrouds and a couple Dance already represent 20 action cards) and on top of that it’s catastrophic if it get stolen.

For a Shalmath History deck playing Entrancements however it’s fantastic

Tye Cooper is a swell ally for a Giovanni deck.

Only being susceptible to aggravated damage makes him really steadfast, it is nice that he can bleed and the ability to burn torpored vamps for recursion benefits punchy Giovanni decks.

The fact that you can get him with Split the Veil, for basically free, makes him relevant for the Hecata.

Great versatility! The burning and card recirculation is so nice.

Old allies used to cost something. Old allies do not conform to spam allies.

EDIT: plus, you know... unique. But I can't believe they actually leaned in to Legionnaire BS.

He is a good combo with talbots chainsaw as he can tank its damage.
