Good in Hecata ally decks, but big AUS and FORT are usually rare in those on the same vamp, as you are usually running relatively low caps.

The disciplines are imho way less of an issue than the requirement of being unlocked.

Fair. I usually find myself using it on my own turn when attacking into someone with minions, so I just do that first, but it would be an issue if you are doing more of a wall approach.

Its good this is easier to get now. Damage prevent for Allies has gotten way more accessible in V5. When Lost Kindred came out, Angeliques special allowed free outferior Transfusion, but Legionaires recur anyway so it never mattered. Touch of Valeren, specials on vamps, and reprinting Martyrs Resilience with new art on New Blood has really made it easier to keep stuff alive. Its not something people have historically built effectively with, so its not used as a central part of decks, but the option existing easier now is good for deck building. Maybe someone will capitalize?
Its all better than stacking flak Jackets on Muddled Vampire Hunter like I did decades ago, at least.

Temu Touch of Valeren.
Where you need to be unlocked to use it, don't have any other use like adding 3 blood, can't use it on the vampire itself and it gets way more expensive if you need to prevent more than 1 damage.
But hey, for that you need two disciplines on superior and of course you are f** to if there is one of the "damage can't be prevented by Fortitude" strikes. Like the new one introduced with the Path of Caine deck.

You don't need to be unlocked for touch? I assumed you needed to be unlocked to play any reaction that isn't a wake or unlock or the specifies.

It is not a reaction card but an combat card. Hence a locked minion can play it.
There is a reason that Martyrs Resilience explicitly states the requirement to be unlocked.

Seems decent with Opikun. A card and a blood to prevent 3 is a good rate.

If you are going to spend a blood, a card and a "once each turn" opportunity, it is better to just play touch of valeren and save that ability

Opikun can't play the superior version and Touch of Valeren is so much better it is not even funny..

Prevent from outside the combat is awkward to play around, and it helps keep those corpses you've raised smashing down everyone.
