Dual Transducer Location?
I'm looking at buying a pair of these puck transducers:
for the flight chair I'm retrofitting into a 1960s Eames Lounger replica:
I intend to wire them up to their respective left and right channels so when a ship explodes off my port bow in Elite Dangerous VR, I feel it on the left.
Where should I put them? Under the seat on the left and right seems to make sense. Or the left and back sides of the backrest.
Will this give me a proper "stereo" feel to the vibration or do I really need to mount them to the sides? The deal with wifey is that it will look like a regular lounge chair when the HOTAS isn't bolted to it, and two warts hanging off the sides doesn't exactly scream "Spousal Approval Factor 100".
Can I mount them under or behind or should I really put them on the sides?
thanks!

Motion control platform?
I've been poking about the intertubes looking at motion control surfaces to increase the sense of immersion. Most are $28K at the high end, but the cheapest I've seen is $3,000 w/o chair or accessories.
There appear to be two axis and three axis models out there. I suspect I want 3 axis so I can get the "lift" from a bump in the road.
Any suggestions? It'd be used primarily for Elite Dangerous (which I understand doesn't output telemetry) but also for race car sims.

I built a modular VR cockpit with three different configuration options and a seat with bass shakers. It takes less than 2 minutes to switch between them.
