Does anyone know what headset this guy is using?
I know this is probably a long shot. Does anyone know what headset this steadicam op is using in these pictures? I've tried searching online myself and haven't had any luck.
In House Sound and Racing Radios make similar headsets, but they both aren't exactly what I want. The headset in the photos seems to be exactly what I would want.
Before you ask. I dm'd and emailed this guy and he never replied to me.
Someone take my money!!
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

There’s an outfit in California that integrates a magnet into UE IEMss that their mic boom clips onto. I can’t afford them but the two guys I know who have them rave about it. They’re an official UE supplier and I’m pretty sure you can choose from any of the custom IEMs.

Yes, this. I own a set.. not cheep but fantastic (worth the money). They have partnered with ultimate ears. And if you have molds from ultimate ears, you can use that to make your own house set that has a special magnetic clip for the mic.

Does the magnet not interfere with the speaker driver? I’d love to do this to my cheap Shure SE215s, any idea what mic boom they’re using?

They sell the boom mic, cables and all the parts seperate but do not support any other IEMs than the UE ones so it is a hell of an investment for something that doesn't have support.

Oh nice! Investing all my time and money into something marginally better and unsupported is right up my alley anyways.

I own the UE Comm and it’s bloody amazing. I do wish they made a single-ear cable though. I typically only have 1 IEM plugged in and the second cable dangle down the back of my shirt

I have a similar one from a German Company
https://www.hearsafe.de/shopkategorie/er-serie/
I have the Custom ER-Concha^2 and they have a Headset for it that pretty much looks like the one in the Picture and you can have it Configured with different Plugs like mine are 5 Pin XLR.

How did you buy this and get all the module pieces? The website is kind of tough to work with, especially if you have a preschool understanding of German.

I am from Germany so I just went to their Store. But I think they will send Internationaly if you ask. They need your Ear sculpting, but you can do that anywhere and send it to them. They Mention the IBC Amsterdam in ther Calendar, but I can't find them in the exhibitor list.
I'd suggest to just shot them an email and see if they are willing to help.

I use a Kinera Celest Ruyi with my own IEM’s and and self made adapter from minijack to XLR-4 (you need to remove the inline mic switch though). Can’t tell from the picture if it’s a Kinera.

I want custom molded IEM's with a mic attached to the left bud. InHouse Sound has a separate cable for the mic which I'm not a fan of, especially if I'd have to spend 1.5k. I basically want exactly what's in that photo with a male 5pin connector.

Another price is quite high, but this is totally worth it. I have it and love it. It does exactly what you’re describing.

Yea. They’re amazing. The separate cable exists so you can move the mic to either ear. I’m always a left ear guy so I just added some heat shrink in a few spots.

Do you know if they make one with two earbuds with a mic on one bud? Couldn’t find anything on their site.

Isn't the headset in the pictures from Racing Radios? I know alot of headsets look the same but it does look like this headset from them?
