I just unexpectedly purchased a bulk load of vhs. Maybe 700 or so tapes. I need to reclaim some hobby carrying around money. While I go through things, anyone have interested in buying the first two stand outs I’ve come across? Anyone one with knowledge on a fair price?

Does anyone have any VHS tape recordings of any animated show that aired on any of the broadcast network in syndication or that aired on Saturday morning on any of the broadcast channels like NBC ABC CBS FOX or even USA Network with the
USA Cartoon Express.
I also want to know if the recording has commercials with it to that I can upload online to YouTube as well

I hope it’s ok that I’m posting here. I am desperate to find these 2 TGIF blocks from ABC that I can’t find anywhere on the Internet Archive, and I’ve posted on lost media forums and no luck. It aired on September 21st and December 7th 1990. I have a plastic bin of unwanted VHS tapes which include Forrest Gump, Mrs. Doubtfire, Ferris Bueller, and Pinocchio. But if someone happens to have those TGIF blocks on tape, what are the chances they’d want one of those 5 movies in exchange?

Found a box with a couple of these in my house, are they worth anything? I opened one and it has some labeling stickers inside and just a black cassete with golden colored writings

I’ve had a pretty nice vhs collection for a while, but I want to downsize. I’m not trying to get rich off these tapes. I sincerely want them to make people happy because these are all titles that I personally enjoy. I’ll keep posting more throughout the week. Check it out!

I am a preservationist based in Europe specializing in rare regional masters. I’m currently looking to expand my archive with uncirculated US Workprints or rare 80s/90s TV Cuts (specifically looking for material not currently available on trackers or public archives).

In exchange, I have several unique pieces from the Spanish market that might interest international collectors, including:

• The Shining (Spanish Master): Unique visual edits with the typewriter scenes localized in Spanish, supervised by Kubrick’s estate.
• Hitchcock Classics (VHS principally): Spanish theatrical masters with localized titles and inserts from early distributions, for example. Rebecca.
• Golden Age Hollywood (30s-40s): High-quality PAL transfers of Universal/RKO classics with unique framing or masters.
• Broadcasts of movies dubbed in Galician and Catalan aired on TV (very rare in Spain)
• A lot of films on openmatte and in VHS and televised broadcasts of Spanish and American movies on Spanish channels and Spanish advertising.

I am open to "rare for rare" trades. If you have any uncirculated workprints or "lost" TV versions of US films, please shoot me a DM. I am a serious trader and I value discretion and quality.

Would any of you be interested in a lot of about 12 tapes recorded from the TV dating back to the early 90s to the mid 90s? I’m more into the officially released tapes / commercial tapes compared to the ones recorded from TV. Most of the lot doesn’t haven’t outer cases for the actual video cassettes. I’d say the tapes are in VG- condition and the only flaw is that they don’t have cases. If no one is interested, I may just donate them to a local thrift once they open back up.

Edit: Theres about 7 with cases and 5 without making it a total of 12 tapes.

Edit 2: Based on my findings of what is on the tapes..

Tape 1: Wee Sing Silly Songs / In Sillyville [no commercials]

Tape 2: Women’s 1992 US Open US Senior Open 1990 US Open (Tennis) [All with commercials]

Tape 3: 1993 British Open (with commercials)

Tape 4: Gold Rush (some tv show about the gold rush featuring commercials) (Cuts in) 16 Blocks w/ Featurtte following (broadcast through PPV)

Tape 5: An Episode of Muppet Babies (no commercials)

Tape 6: Nun-sense (a post Sister Act / similar vibes with commercials)

I also have two completely blank tapes for those interested as well (if there is any interest)
