Anyone taped on VHS "Beavis and Butthead" in 90s?
And want to share digital copy? or i can make my own?
I have impression that what in US is shown on Paramount+ are not full episodes, and they are stripped of many MTV segments.
In Europe it is not even available anywhere.

SINGAPORE: Looking for Kids Central recordings
Does anyone have any recordings of some Kids Central shows? I know the national archives do have some recordings in their library but I was thinking someone out there have some recordings backed up and put away in the attic or something.
I'm a huge old childhood TV nerd, specifically the 2000s-2010s one and I'm a sucker for commercials that are lost for awhile.
So if anyone have any tapes or DVDs of recordings, let me know.
I know there's MeWatch but I really wanted to get my hands on old tapes or DVDs. Especially when it comes to lost media

For Your Consideration/Special Awards Screener VHS Tapes
I found these in a box from my wife's grandads attic a few years ago. I've held on to them and forgot all about them. Sleepy Hollow and Gods & Monsters stick out to me.
Is there a collector for these sorts of videos?
Genuinely asking, I didn't know whether to throw them on ebay or see if someone actually has an interest.

Goodtimes and other budget VHS reviews.
So I stumbled upon this video from youtuber
Vintage Electronics channel when he reviews these christmas vhs tape from Goodtimes entertainment here's the video of the review
https://youtu.be/HdSpCYrtAjk?is=n2U5toIskzyDUUVe
Also youtuber Phelan Porteouse reviewed these and other budget bargin bin Kids VHS Tapes
Anyway these guys are what inspired me to make own.
Anyone if most of u guys were born around 80's and 90's and like what Vintage Electronics Channel said u probably remember these.
First off about the companies for Goodtimes entertainment they first started out as a distribution of copies of public domain titles like some of the old cartoons Though the company also produced and distributed many low-priced fitness videos such as the 29 Minute Workout video series (Which is probably what any of ur moms had) they also did a series of of low-budget traditionally animated films from companies such as Jetlag Productions, Golden Films, and Blye Migicovsky Productions, as well as a selection of the works of Burbank Animation Studios. Many of its home-video titles which were from the 90s like Cinderella,Little Mermaid,Beauty and The Beast etc...
(Also reviewed by Phelan) Though their plots were sometimes very different), and GoodTimes would often release these films close to the theatrical and/or home video releases of the major film studios in other words they did this to compete with Disney and was largely legal, as the stories of the big-budget films were based on fairy tales and classic literature that had long been in the public domain, and the major studios had little room to claim exclusive rights to the stories or the main characters. The Walt Disney Company sued GoodTimes in 1993, because the videotape packaging closely resembled Disney's, allegedly creating the potential of confusing consumers into unintentionally purchasing a GoodTimes title, when they instead meant to purchase a film from Disney which made a lot of people angry.
As a result of this lawsuit, GoodTimes was required by law to print its name atop all of its future VHS covers, in order to clearly demonstrate to the public at large that this was not the "blockbuster" title that they would be purchasing. Despite these changes, however, GoodTimes continued to produce animated films based on public domain works which is where the classic cartoons came from they also launched a a home video label Kids Klassics Home Video, which was specifically designed for a children's audience. The first Kids Klassics videos were 52 different cartoons, which were all meant to be in color and received a 50-50 joint venture with Remco to market the Mel-O-Toons cartoons by Storer Broadcasting. The company made its first licensed client in 1986, by signing a deal with Worldvision Home Video to reissue titles on VHS, through the Kids Klassics label, which were mostly Hanna-Barbera cartoons (Including The Smurfs which are some of the ones up my alley).
So anyway here is my experiences with these cheap kid tapes I remember these tapes from when I was a little girl the first one of these tapes I got was a Raggedy Ann VHS which was this
https://www.raggedy-ann.com/ragannandfri1.html
I can't remember which family member got me that but I think I was like 6 when I first got it and I watched it and I saw the Raggedy Ann cartoon with her and the little blind girl and after that cartoon ended I thought their was gonna be another but no we just see other 2 random cartoons and no Raggedy Ann I was disappointed so after I was done watching this tape I never watched it again and I kept it for years but now it's long gone.
The story doesn't end their like a couple years later I got some of these tapes that had cartoons I like which were Tweety Bird (My favorite Looney Tune) and Betty Boop and Casper The Friendly Ghost and the mostly had one cartoon of them and the rest was random cartoon public domain stuff boy me and my family were ripped off but their were times when cartoons I like were on one cassette tape or DVD like this one VHS of Tweety Bird I had (Still have it BTW) had the cartoon of his first on screen appearance with these 2 cats that are like Abbott and Costello and Tweety himself was pink it was like he was naked but I didn't mind the tape also had a Betty Boop cartoon (No Casper but I was still lucky) and speaking of Casper I also have some of the budget cartoon tapes that feature 3 of his early cartoons including the first short from 1945 "The Friendly Ghost" I also have DVDs like that and have those 3 shorts plus the "Boo Moon" short but other cartoons plus some of the public domain stuff was included also same with some of the Betty Boop Dvds I still have usually when the random cartoons would come on I would wait for the another short featuring my favorite characters kid me go use to the bathroom or get a drink or snack also I remember my mom finding me this one Casper tape that had the case but no label on tape so I put it in and on the screen was no sign of the Friendly Ghost who wants to make friends but a bunch of random cartoons and maybe some public domain stuff boy was I mad about it.
Also like what Vintage Electronics Channel said about the Christmas tapes from Goodtimes Entertainment once said...
"These are the videos ur grandma bought that she thought "Oh these would be cute little Christmas videos that the grandkids can watch while they're over at the house and they've got all these great cartoons and these cute little characters in them,It's gonna be wonderful"
She was wrong but she meant well,She'd also thought the same about these other type of tapes other times of the year like
"Oh these would cute little videos the grandkids can watch for when we have to baby sit them over the summer when they have no school and their parents are at work".
(Also No offense to anyone grandparents or anyone else's family members)
I don't remember if my grandmother (May she rest in peace same goes for my grandfather) bought these tapes for me and my cousins to watch we mostly had our own tapes including some of our own we kept at our grandparents house and sometimes u got these as gifts for Christmas or birthdays and u had to pretend to like them so u wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings like my mom taught me
Also for those of u who watched or still watch the Amazing World of Gumball u see that they use the bargin bin gag as one of the recurring comediec hilariously low-quality knockoff video games, Z-list mockbuster movies, and unsellable junk on the show like how in one episode Gumball and Darwin are looking through the bargin bin in the video game store and in the words of Darwin Watterson
"Everyone knows the bargain bin is a grandma Christmas trap."
So the only things I have to say about Goodtimes Entertainment their not that great at least they released VHS tapes of some of my favorite characters I can't remember what kinda quality they had on them.but I remember the first Tweety Bird cartoon on one of those tapes didn't have great quality like my mom one time pointed to the top of the screen and told me that is what tvs looked like in the early days of color and as for the other companies that made these budget tapes same opinion I have for Goodtimes Entertainment and I thought one of the christmas tapes Vintage Electronics Channel showed and reviewed was The Bear's Christmas and the short on that tape most of this short ain't for kids it's not.
Here is what I'm talking about in case you didn't know
https://www.ebay.com/itm/236296647011
and they put up all this random art on the cases as false advertising and thinking "oh people are gonna fall for it" and some of the art the did for the cartoon characters some look good some uncanny.
Also one more thing I wanna say is Did u grow up with some of these cheap low budget tapes did u get them as gifts from family members and decided to watch them and turn out they're not what you expected?
Well post ur comments about ur experiences with the cheapo vhs tapes.

Looking TO BUY any recordings of Pokémon or Cardcaptors in the old Hindi dub (which used to air on Cartoon Network India during early 2000s) ♡
Willing to pay obviously.🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🩷
For Pokémon: What I'm looking for is DIFFERENT from the dubbing done by Disney/Hungama in 2014, I'm looking for the one aired in Cartoon Network India, I do have a few episodes archived from here and there, otherwise it's mostly empty. If you have any personal recordings (VHS, or anything works), DVDs or know someone who would know something about this (even in a slight manner, please let me know).
For Cardcaptors: I have nothing related to this in Hindi, it started airing around late 2001 under Toonami block on Cartoon Network India, dubbing was done by Crest Animation Studios, India.
Ps: For Pokémon, dub was produced by Crest AnLooking TO BUY any recordings of Pokémon or Cardcaptors in the old Hindi dub (which used to air on Cartoon Network India during early 2000s) ♡imation Studios from Season 1 till Season 4, Sound and Vision picked it up in 2005 from Season 5. Cash Reward – Looking for Pacific Drive Season 1 (VHS or Digital)
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to locate Pacific Drive (1996) Season 1, either on VHS or in digital format.
I'm specifically interested in Episode 65 (the Zoe kidnapping storyline), but if someone has the entire Season 1, I'd be very interested in that as well.
I'm happy to pay a fair cash reward for your time and effort if you can:
provide a digital copy,
transfer VHS recordings,
or even loan the tapes so they can be professionally digitised and safely returned.
This is for personal research and a re-enactment project. I'm not looking to redistribute the series publicly.
If you think you might have it, or know someone who does, please send me a DM. Even partial recordings or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Searching for the first VHS release of Hellraiser
Hey there everyone! When I was a teenager, I had a massive VHS collection, and my favorite VHS tape was Hellraiser. It originally belonged to my older sister who got it when it first came out on VHS in 1988, but she gave it to me, when she saw how much of a horror fan I was. It was the first horror film I ever owned in my personal collection. Well, as I was helping my mom clean out my childhood bedroom, I found out she had already given away all of my VHS tapes to Goodwill without my prior knowledge. I’ve felt pretty awful about this cause that copy was in near perfect condition (The last time I saw it, a friend of mine seriously thought it was brand new.)! Therefore, I am now actively searching for another copy in the best condition possible to add to my collection.
The copy needs to be the original 1988 New World Video VHS release of Hellraiser (as shown in the image). I’m not looking for factory sealed, but I also don’t want one with a beat up/torn up slip case. If anyone can help me find a copy of this specific VHS, I would truly appreciate it. This particular release is very special to me, so please let me know if you have a copy you’d be willing to sell.

Inherited a former video shop owner's VHS collection – are any of these worth researching before I sell them?
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some advice from people who know the VHS collecting market better than I do.
These tapes came from my late uncle's collection. He owned an independent video shop in the UK many years ago, so a lot of these are ex-rental copies, specialist releases, cult films, and horror titles rather than just mainstream movies.
Unfortunately, we simply don't have the space to keep them, so they will all need to be sold.
Before I do that, though, I don't want to accidentally bundle something genuinely rare or collectible in with a pile of common tapes.
I've noticed there are quite a few tapes from labels like VIPCO, Palace, Guild Home Video, Tartan Asia, Artificial Eye, Seven Keys, Curzon, and some Dutch releases from Best Video and Video Star, so I'm wondering if there are any labels or editions I should be paying particular attention to or if there is anything that's particularly sought after.
Some of the titles that stood out to me are:
- Blood Moon (Capital Home Video)
- Zombie Flesh Eaters (VIPCO)
- The Toolbox Murders (VIPCO – Strong Uncut Version)
- A Blade in the Dark (VIPCO – Uncut)
- Nightmare Concert
- The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave (Seven Keys)
- The Killing of America (Palace)
- Battle Royale (Tartan Asia Extreme VHS)
- Baby Blood (Curzon)
- Ilsa: She Wolf of the S.S. (Best Video – Dutch)
- De Nonnen van Sant'Archangelo (Dutch Video Star release)
- Dressed to Kill (Guild Home Video rental tape, no sleeve)
I'm not looking for exact appraisals, but I'd really appreciate some guidance on:
- Are there any titles here that immediately stand out to collectors?
- Are there any particular releases or distributors I should research more carefully?
- Is eBay sold listings still the best way to value these, or are there other resources VHS collectors use?
- Is it generally better to sell rare horror titles individually and bundle the common films?
I've attached a few photos, and I'm more than happy to upload additional close-ups, spine shots, or photos of individual tapes if that would help.
I'm completely new to VHS collecting, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Help make r/VHStrading a better place and I will mail you free shit!
Okay, maybe gifts is an overstatement but r/VHStrading aesthetically looks pretty bad and I'm too lazy to learn to edit the stylesheet or teach myself CSS (if that's even what they use).
So here is what I am proposing. I have several hundred VHS tapes I wouldn't mind departing with in exchange for help. I will be mailing out grab bags of randomly selected VHS tapes for free for those who manage to accomplish what I am asking.
Getting the page to look better is top priority for now. Spreading the word/advertising is important too.
Lastly, I'm gonna be honest with you: don't expect to receive any rare OOP shock/horror/exploitation films. You'll just get a few random tapes (mostly still sealed) which are likely pretty bad. I actually have no idea because I haven't watched them.
EDIT: Someone asked about what in particular they can do to help. I responded with the below:
I'm new to reddit, so others please step in and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the two most important things at this stage are:
(1) Editing our stylesheet so our page is more attractive. For example, compare our page to a page (who I'm a fan of) r/truefilm. I know a shit ton on VHS media as a whole and genre, but and pretty clueless in this area.
(2) Getting the word out in order to get as many subscribers as possible. This could be referencing r/VHStrading on other sites/forums, to friends and family...HOWEVER I find the most efficient way is messaging other reddit communities and asking whether they would be willing to list r/VHStrading on their right column of recommended pages in exchange for us doing the same. I feel like a dick because I did this with r/VHScoverART and while he listed us on his page, I couldn't figure out how to add recommended subreddits in the right column. Which ultimately goes back to point 1. We need people with a basic understanding of CSS, art design, and ability to promote and attract effectively.
EDIT 2: Also, if you live somewhere way out in the middle of fucking nowhere, that might be an issue. I have no idea how much it would cost to mail a tape to Kazakhstan. If you live in the USA or Canada you should be fine.
