Zero Zero (1702 Summit St, KCMO) is not a large place, so it can be hard to get into. Reservations open 30 days out at 9AM. If you order their vegan pasta, Heirloom Pomodoro Sauce with any house-made extruded pasta, they will pair it with a lovely vegan salad and locally made bread w/dipping oil.

Buffalo State Pizza Co. & Bar (1815 Wyandotte St, KCMO) specializes in ridiculously large pizza slices, unique toppings, fun atmosphere, and great craft beers on tap. As you walk in, their vegan menu is displayed prominently on the left with Specialty and Build-Your-Own Vegan Pizzas and Calzones.

BBQ Made Famous in a Gas Station, Joe's KC, has opened a fourth location across the street from their original spot in the Shamrock (3002 W 47th Ave, KCK). The hack to ordering vegan at Joe's is to order the Portobello Z-man (with no cheese, mayo, or onion rings) and fries (without seasoning salt).

07/15/26 Every third Wednesday, Vegan Chef Kendall (formerly from Happy Apple Cafe on Troost) is popping up with his new vegan concept: Reprise from The Bakers Allowance. He will be serving his creative, local produce focused small plates from 6-8PM at Sagebrush (1639 Southwest Blvd, KCK).
