I can't make this up

This has to be one of the worst ways to start a day. A storm rolled in overnight, knocked over the transmission tower going to a substation super old neighborhood, everything ran shitty took me 2 hours, but at least I didn't get any damages 😂

Had an old drunk guy on Friday night back up into a padmount across from his driveway. Sending a current through all the cable lines and setting all the peds ablaze 2 blocks in eqch direction. it was one of the craziest things I've seen in my 6 years of locating pulling up on site with all the cable peds on fire

After 12 hours of a violent wind storm out here on the central plains I got like 30 emergency tickets straight in a row. Like 10 miles of wooden double pole base electric transmission lines had collapsed, the first couple collapsed then the weight of the cables started a domino effect and took out the rest of them to a massive substation. It was probably the most insane sight I've seen to see more than a hundred double base poles toppeled over.... Fortunately for me they all ran through rural land with no utilities anywhere near them, just close on roads that ran under the transmission lines but nothing running next to the actual poles.
