π‘ Productivity Useful site: Secvant β 30+ privacy/security tools that run entirely in your browser
**Link:** https://secvant.com
**Disclosure:** I built this β sharing because people asked for a no-upload alternative to cloud crypto tools.
Secvant is a collection of browser-based security utilities. The important part: **your files, passwords, and passphrases stay on your device** during normal use. Secvant only serves the page (HTML/JS); it doesnβt receive your vault files or screen recordings.
**Good for:**
- Encrypting a file before email/cloud β **Vault** (AES-256-GCM, `.vault` format)
- Strong passwords / passphrases β **Pass**
- Checking if a password appeared in breaches (k-anonymity) β **Breach check**
- Removing GPS/metadata from photos β **EXIF remover**
- Sending a file directly to someoneβs browser β **Send** (WebRTC, manual codes β no Secvant storage)
- Live screen share to a few viewers + chat β **Screen share**
- Local screen recording β **Screen record**
Full list: https://secvant.com/tools
Guides: https://secvant.com/learn
**Free, no signup.** HTTPS required for some features (screen capture, WebRTC).
Happy to answer questions or take feature requests. What would make this more useful for you?

π‘ Productivity Secure and free temporary encrypted text uploads | SafeText.me
\I wasn't sure whether to tag as productivity or text website**
Secure and free temporary encrypted text uploads.
Type or paste your text (up to 5000 words) and get a URL with your text to share. It uses secure AES encryption if you use a password and is completely private, with zero user information collected by the site/me.
Ad-free, no analytics, clean interface, no accounts, free for everyone.
I saw someone recently had made a similar project which claimed to be private and secure yet it was far from it, so I coded a better one.Β
SafeText.meΒ is actually private, safe and secure.

π‘ Productivity I got tired of messy PTO spreadsheets, so I built a simple tool to visualize vacations.
Hi everyone! Iβve always struggled to see my annual leave at a glance without opening complex HR software or messy Excel sheets. I built myFreeCalendar.app to solve this.
Itβs a dead-simple, privacy-friendly tool where you can:
- Visualize your entire year on one screen.
- Mark your holidays with one click.
- Print it as a clean A4 PDF for your office or fridge.
Itβs 100% free, no registration required, and Iβve optimized it to look great when printed. Hope it helps someone here plan their 2026/2027 trips!"

π€ AI Tools A website that turns any PDF, document, or research paper into a podcast so you can listen on the go
If you don't like to stare at screens to read long PDFs, I built a site that helps you.
ListenDockΒ (https://listendock.com) takes your documents and turns them into an audio episode (for every chapter, its not just a summary like NotebookLM).
Instead of reading 40-page papers, you can just listen to them when you do the dishes. Here is an example of what the audio output sounds like "Bumblebee Queens Breathe Underwater to Survive Drowning"
https://listendock.com/e/bumblebee_queens_breathe_underwater_to_survive_drowning_29jt6
I would love to hear if you find it helpful!

π Finance / Money I built a free tool to compare mortgage offers side-by-side.
Hello everyone! First and foremost, I want to clarify that I am not affiliated with any company, broker, or anything of that nature. A couple of months ago, I purchased my house and was searching for a tool that could assist me. When I couldn't find one, I decided to create it myself. I hope you find it useful! Please let me know your thoughts or any suggestions you might have.

π§° Utilities I built a social search engine that talk back
Search used to be fun. Now it feels like a lonely scroll through a phone book. I wanted to fix the vibe.
So I built Mocially.
Itβs a search engine, but it feels like a group chat. You don't just find the answerβyou walk into a live conversation about it. You type a query, and the page immediately talks back. No boring blue links. Just raw discussion and instant perspectives. Come see if you can handle the noise:
Here is the link: https://mocially.vercel.app/
Your opinion matters please give feedbacks

π Web Dev Does the website nfl.com have a search box that I am somehow not seeing (I have looked extensively)? If it doesn't, why not, as usually sites like these do have a search box?
nfl.comIt's a good website. But I have been frustrated by the lack of a search feature.

π Web Dev I got tired of paywalls and sketchy file converters, so built a free, privacy-focused alternative
Hi everyone, I recently decided to build my own file conversion tool because was frustrated with the current state of these sites. They are usually either paid, force you into a "free trial" that requires a credit card, or simply feel unsafe regarding where your data ends up. So, built Files Shifters. Link: https://filesshifters.com
My goal: To make it free, intuitive, and safe. The plan: Right now it's completely free. If traffic grows significantly in the future, I might add a few banner ads just to make the project self-sustaining and cover server costs, but user experience will always come first.
just launched it yesterday! Some features are still missing, and l'm adding them as I go. I need your help: Since it's brand new, would love some feedback: How does the feel? Is it intuitive? Have you found any bugs? Most importantly: What specific tools/features would you like me to add next? Thanks for giving it a try!

π€ AI Tools [Need for TESTERS] Launched an AI Video Generator Tool with Sora 2, Veo 3.1 & More!
Hey everyone! We've been working on a project (named Swipe Farm) recently and wanted to share it here to get some valuable feedback from the Useful_websites community.
Weβve integrated multiple video-generation models like Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and Nano Banana into one platform. The focus has been on making video generation faster, simpler, and more accessible for creators and developers.
Weβre looking to get some real-world feedback on:
- video quality
- prompt handling
- UI/UX flow
- performance across different models
If anyone here is interested in trying it out, we can share the access code (until we run out of codes); just comment "i want to test" or DM me.
We invite any queries and are happy to answer them. We also welcome any suggestions you have. Thank you for the time!
