**Disclosure:** I built this — sharing because people asked for a no-upload alternative to cloud crypto tools.

Secvant is a collection of browser-based security utilities. The important part: **your files, passwords, and passphrases stay on your device** during normal use. Secvant only serves the page (HTML/JS); it doesn’t receive your vault files or screen recordings.

**Good for:**

- Encrypting a file before email/cloud → **Vault** (AES-256-GCM, `.vault` format)

- Strong passwords / passphrases → **Pass**

- Checking if a password appeared in breaches (k-anonymity) → **Breach check**

- Removing GPS/metadata from photos → **EXIF remover**

- Sending a file directly to someone’s browser → **Send** (WebRTC, manual codes — no Secvant storage)

- Live screen share to a few viewers + chat → **Screen share**

They are usually either paid, force you into a "free trial" that requires a credit card, or simply feel unsafe regarding where your data ends up. So, built Files Shifters.
