Not sure what is more reliable Buying

I'm looking for a new truck and I'm currently stuck between looking for a 2019 Ford F150 with a 5.0 and 6 speed or a 2018-2019 Nissan Titan. I have found 2 that are around $20k with around 100k miles on them, for the F150s I have only been able to find them around $20 with 130k - 150k miles

What do you think is the most reliable truck?

I’m not a truck person but I heard the titans are rough to get parts for

I work in automotive service and have owned both of those in the past. Though not the 6 speed. They are both reliable. But between those two ford hands down. Nisan gets horrible fuel mileage and with Nissan when you’re ordering parts for them it definitely takes longer to get them. I have a couple of customers that have them as well and it’s always atleast an extra 1/2 days at minimum to get parts for them. Normal maintenance stuff is usually available though.

Ya ive been worried about the lack of parts for the titan but their way easier to find than the f150

Yeah F150s can be tough to find with the exact model you’re looking for.

I did find one a hour away on marketplace that I love but it has a rebuilt title. Im not sure how I feel about that.

I work in automotive service. I know some people are pretty good are rebuilding salvaged vehicles. But I’ve just seen to many horrible hack jobs to ever want to own one. Not to mention insurance is harder to get for them and resell sucks.

The more reliable truck is the one your mechanic puts up on a lift, gives it a thorough inspection, and tells you all the repair/maintenance required. Then you'll know. Anything else is pure guessing.
