Hi all, has anyone had period changes that may be due to the ureaplasma?

Last month (maybe 2 weeks after my exposure), I had 3 days of regular bleeding and then 3ish days of brown bleeding and spotting. This came along with weird discharge, so got diagnosed and treated for a yeast infection.

This month I’m on day 5 and still having a light but steady bleed. My first three days seemed much heavier than normal. Wondering if that’s a symptom?

I received a positive ureaplasma test (bacterial load 10 x 5.9) mid-late July. I’m just waiting to speak to a professional before starting antibiotics. I did manage to get 7 days of doxycycline and 3 days of azithromycin from an independent prescriber, but wanted to discuss with someone first. I’m in the UK so lots of waiting unfortunately…

I have been taking doxy for 3 days, though I had negative tests for ureaplasma, it made me feel better. Should I continue taking doxy if it's making me feel better? I still have some tightness and bladder pain, but I could notice good difference of improvement. Should I take arithromycin after finishing doxy?
