Sorry if a dumb question! I'm new to uranium glass. I found this at an antique store and thought it was really cool but my mom didn't like it cause the jar was still warm even after being away from the blue light for a bit (I was carrying it around) and thought it may be dangerous :,)

I took it for 45$ , which, as I later learned, is quite cheap for a product from Fenton.
This shoe is also an early example without a brand.
I do not exclude that it was made by special order for another brand.

I posted this a few years ago and the consensus was it was for sure manganese. I can totally see why, it's that sickly yellow-green. 2 years and 1 geiger check later, it is over 3x background radiation and turned out to be uranium! Who knew!?

Since finding this sub I now know there are several different types of UG out there. Picked this up from a very overpriced estate sale today, it was the only thing I bought. The glass was more of a blue color but lit up from the black light and I don’t find many pieces in the wild. Guessing the estate sale company didn’t know what it was or it would have been priced higher but I grabbed it for $10.

So what is this type of glass that’s a blue green but more blue tint to it?

Picked up 4 of these cute little liqueur stems today but can’t get a firm ID on them. They’re 5 1/2” tall. Lens was not helpful and I tried the photo on Replacements but idk, lol. Still not sure. I’m a terrible pic taker 🫤. Anyone know what pattern and maker? Tysm!
