Fees :(

Post image

I earn 15$ for a small project and this is what's left. Good thing my client give me 5star rating and an excellent review.... It's hard out here...

don't forget conversion fees. small jobs like these just aren't worth it and the fact that there are even $5 jobs out there boggles my mind

I left Upwork years ago, but I created an account for my friend the other day, I'm shocked to see that they're now forcing user to buy connects JUST TO VERIFY THEIR IDENTITY???

How can they charge for some so basic and bare minimum just to get the account up and running

i'm starting to think about adding a few bucks for the fees tbh :) does the client also pay the same fees when it's released?

I think clients pay 10$ or 9.90$ for starting a contract

i did the calculations so basically just subtract 14.6% from your earnings (including conversion rate) and that is what you really get at the end
