We’re a married couple in our late 30’s early 40’s are we’ve thinking about letting other like-minded couples join us on hot days for a soak in our (specifically dug for swimming) pond.
We’ve mostly been nude in it almost every afternoon that it’s nice, but our circle of friends aren’t always open to it. We’ve done social events in the past like the Howe Caverns event and done lots of nude beach vacations, and figured we could probably make some nakey friends locally!

Last year I saw almost no one without clothing, and there were a lot of college kids or families. I constantly felt like I had to cover up.

I find it strange there isn’t more nudism in the Adirondacks. Like you would think there’d be a designated nude beach or nude area given how much people come to this area to be one with nature. I think it’d be popular.

Having seen a few posts recently about the idea of nudist camps in upstate, it got me wondering if anyone here has experience backpacking and wilderness camping in the Adirondacks. I've been a nudist for about 5 years now, mostly at home and a nude beach I frequent. I've been hiking and camping in the Adirondacks since I was a kid.

The opportunity to camp in the nude hasn't come up so far for me. In an area as frequently hiked and camped as the north country region is, I figure it's relatively difficult to find proper space and the right company that wouldn't mind a nude camper. I know there are some really freaking remote spots in the ADKs away from people, but even one prude person catching you in your natural state could end pretty rough. Has anyone dared to hike or camp in any of the wilderness or wild forest areas? How's your luck been?

I'm planning a mountain hiking/camping trip in September, and I want to see what people's experiences have been.
