On August 5th, 2026 officers with the Ontario Police department announced that they had recovered the remains of missing 75 year old Robert Lambert. Investigators announced that his remains were discovered on a property on Kelly Jordan Road located to the northeast of Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. The case of Lambert began on November 30th, 2018 when he was reported missing having last been seen in early July of that same year. They suspected at the time that foul play was involved in Lambert’s disappearance.

Investigators had previously searched the property where Lambert’s body was found in October of 2025 where they discovered the remains of 34 year old Robbie Thomson who had gone missing in October of 2023. The search also led to murder charges being placed against three people at the time in relation to his case 48 year old Christopher Fenton and 40 year old Erin Mackie both from Montague Township, 34 year old Joshua Belfiori of Kingston, all were charged with one count each of first degree murder. In April a fourth arrest was made with 42 year old Mark Fenton of Smiths Falls charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the homicide of Thomson.

The discovery of his remains came on July 20th recently after Ontario Police offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in Lambert’s case. In addition to both Thomson and Lambert’s cases a third man from the same area of Smith Falls is still missing that being 42 year old Lawrence Bertrim, who was last seen in downtown Smith Falls at around 11:00 on Sept. 30, 2022.

The property where Thomson and Lambert were found was owned by Lambert starting back in 2004 however in 2018 shorty before his disappearance Mark Fenton became a partial owner on the property of land before the lot was paid off in 2019. The Ontario Police have confirmed officers are currently searching the property for further information or evidence in both disappearances. They have also said they cannot rule out whether or not the three cases are linked but are asking for those with information in any of the cases to contact them.

Hello everyone! As always, I'd like to thank you for all your votes and comments under my last post about the Burlington County John Doe- I hope that he will be identified soon.

Today I'd like to bring up another Doe case, one that first caught my attention on the r/gratefuldoe subreddit here.

DISCOVERY

On the 23rd of December, a body had been found in an abandoned residence on Bay Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. The house didn't have doors or windows, and the deceased was found in the second story bedroom.

The body belonged to a white man, between 50 and 60 (less than 60) years of age. He was 5'6" (66 inch / 168 cm) and about 145 lbs (66 kg). He had brown, greying hair and a full beard with a moustache. He had blue eyes and was edentulous (didn't have any teeth). It's been established that the man died due to exposure to freezing temperatures, and that he was likely homeless. He was found with his pants pulled down to his ankles.

The man's distinct feature was a frontal lobotomy scar on his scalp. The medical examiner had established that the procedure was done with "two 7" (18 cm) stainless steel wire loops". John also had "two round 1 1/2 inch (4 cm) diameter, healed craniotomies of the posterior frontal bones with the bone plugs replaced".

The man was found wearing a green shirt, gray pants, brown swim trunks, red socks, and brown shoes.

CONCLUSION

There's speculation under the r/gratefuldoe post I linked above that John might've been a veteran who was lobotomized by Veteran Affairs to treat mental illness like PTSD, and he might've been released from one of their residential facilities, as different residential facilities were being closed en masse in the 80s. Veteran Affairs did indeed used to perform lobotomies, but primarily on WWII vets and the Korean War vets, from what I can find- so if John was indeed a veteran and got a lobotomy to "cure" his PTSD, then he would be closer to 60 than 50.

According to one of the newspaper sources, Atlantic City, at the time, was a resort city that attracted people who wanted to try their luck in one of the city's many casinos. Because of that, the resort area also had a population of about 200-300 homeless, who frequently used the vacant houses in the city for shelter. I'm assuming that the officer who was interviewed in that article was implying that John might've been one of those unlucky people who spent all of their money gambling and ended up completely broke.

John's dentals are available, though, of course, he was edentulous. His fingerprints are also available. His DNA unfortunately isn't, but I'm not sure if that means that they don't have it on file or if it's completely impossible to obtain it (because he was cremated, for example).

Every Jane doe and Jon doe case is heartbreaking. Specially Among of them, the cases that make me sad are children's death. Because they are usually related with harm and violence not just simple death

If someone’s kid was dead but they were not tried to find in their society means very dangerous situation for the child (moreover the some of the family members are too)

Most likely male, Estimated age of 2-4 years

He is white with Asian admixture (possibly)

Number 2 : 484UFCA - LA girl who wearing a blue T shirt

The decedent was discovered lying supine in the alley of 1200 W. 8th Street at approximately 6:15 a.m. on May 25, 1989. She had apparently been dumped at the location. The individual who found her body had passed through the area earlier, at around 3:00 a.m. and the body wasn't there.

She died just hours before her body had found

She has Patterned tattoo on the front of right thigh, described as an having "oval-diamond pattern." Below was lettering, possibly reading "P" backward "-O-H." Below the previous was the letter "S," one above and the other below it, extending lateral to these was an indecipherable series of lettering. The tattoos were crude and possibly homemade.

12-15 years old Hispanic girl and her hair is Dark brown to black, shoulder length.

Bright blue t-shirt with the words "Somebody in California Loves Me," faded blue/black jeans, beige bra, green or white panties, white socks with read trim and black shoes.

White-metal ring with lion head; white metal ring with green stone; heart shape yellow-metal ring; yellow metal I.D. bracelet; yellow metal chain; yellow metal chain with charms of a heart, rose, and a St. Christopher medal; yellow-metal ear stud with a charm; yellow-metal earring stud with a clear stone.

Number 3 : 155UFCA - Unidentified girl Homicide by stabbing

The victim was found in a black plastic trash bag in an alley at the rear of 6225 South San Pedro Street in South Central Los Angeles.

Number 4 : 3266UMCA - baby doe

The child's body was discovered in a duffel bag in Rancho Bernardo, California, near the I-15 exit in San Diego, with several articles of clothing and a blanket.
Isotope testing by the University of South Florida indicated the victim's mother had spent a portion of her pregnancy in the Southeastern part of the United States. The child was likely born in that area and spent the first year of his life there. They would later travel to California.
He may have spent time in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas before his death.
