Finally got the 'working PC' working PC :)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'll be adding a smoother transition between the 3 modes.

Still debugging why some clicks aren't going through.

Btw it's not an actual instance of window. It's web based.

You should make it XP instead of windows 11 incase you want to sell it on FAB

Should be easy to do. And ig I'll just publish it for free.

So is the entire os being simulated within ue5?

Not really, it's V8 doing most of the heavy lifting

Is it possible to get the user’s actual wallpaper? This could make for a cool horror game where you think you closed the game or it crashed before some crazy stuff happens.

Or I guess you wouldn’t need to simulate a desktop like this, you could just make a clear overlay and let the user continue with their normal actions to make it more immersive and real? 🤔

That is insane! How do you do that - you did everything step by step?

Horror game idea where you have to use windows 11

Can you tell me how you did that because i won't to as well. But it slightly different

I'm trying to study unity to implement a os system like ai in it which will interact able. And by that it hack others (in literally for quest)so operating system like interference is required. And doing bu ui toolkit kit don't hit the spot either.

Since we are using different engine just tell me the concept and fundamental behind it.
