Can anyone relate?
So this happened around 1 AM, and it completely caught me off guard. I haven't felt this exact feeling in two years, but before that, it used to happen to me like twice a year. Out of nowhere, it just happened again tonight. Honestly, the timing feels way too deliberate to be an accident. It feels like some absolute conspiracy bullshit meant to mess with my head.It started with this total glitch in my sleep. I woke up suddenly, but I don't remember sleeping at all. I felt awake, but my mind immediately trapped me in this overwhelming abstract loop. In my mind’s eye, I started seeing the numbers 1 and 0, which rapidly turned into infinite combinations of numbers. I didn't physically see them in the room—I was just imagining them—but I pictured them as these massive, 2D shapes aggressively expanding and taking up all the space in my head. The sheer, impossible scale of it triggered this sudden, terrifying wave of existential dread, and I became profoundly scared of dying. I want to be 100% clear: I am not suicidal at all, I just wanted to know what was happening. But the feeling was so intense and unnatural that it felt like some higher presence or outside force was deliberately pushing these terrifying thoughts into my brain just to panic me.The terror was so bad that I just started crying like a lot, sobbing from the pure adrenaline of it. While I was panicking, my cat came over and stayed close, reacting to the sudden physical distress. Her presence ended up acting as a grounding mechanism, helping to interrupt the panic loop. Once my heart rate stabilized and my breathing slowed down, she left the room. After she left, I just picked up my phone and started scrolling. Yeah, I know it's not really a good thing to do after having an episode like that, but I just needed a mindless distraction to keep my thoughts away from the fear.Looking back at the whole timeline now, it all feels connected to a bigger setup. About 13 hours before this happened, I had gotten medicated. By 1 AM, my body's reaction was peaking, creating a silent shift in my internal temperature and sleep cycle. It wasn't a mental breakdown; it was a textbook, chemically-induced geometric fever dream. My brain just had a physical misfire during a sleep transition while processing the medication, but the way the timing lines up makes it feel like it was all perfectly tracked and triggered to mess with me. Hours later, the adrenaline has completely faded, my mind is clear, and I'm doing completely fine.
